Acer DX900 Dual SIM Windows Smartphone Review
Verdis Reviews posted a review on the Acer DX900 Dual SIM Windows Smartphone

The mobile phone industry has been flooded with a huge array of Windows based smartphones which all seem to be variations on a theme and not hugely different from one another. With high profile companies leading the way, such as HTC, bringing in new features such as larger integrated touch screens, rivalling companies need to respond. In the past this was done with the addition of extra features that are supposed to maximise the user experience but in all truth for the last few years, many phones have been incredibly similar.

Acer hopes that the DX900 will be a sure fire hit but the amount of consumers who are actually looking for dual SIM functionality is likely to be a small minority. With this in mind, can Acer still produce a phone which warrants purchase using just a single SIM card?

Dell 2145cn MFP printer Review
IT Pro posted a review of a Dell 2145cn MFP multi-function laser printer

Buying a multifunction device rather than a simple printer makes a lot of sense, particularly if space is tight. Building scan, copy and fax functions into a single machine, with pretty much the same footprint as a single-function printer, will provide a productivity boost and if, as in Dell's 2145cn, it can duplex, too, it could save you quite a bit of your stationery budget, as well.

eMedia Guitar Method v4 reviewed
ITReviewed posted a review on eMedia Guitar Method v4

eMedia's Guitar Method is a well-rounded instructional software package that takes the chore out of learning to play guitar from scratch. With over 160 lessons and 70 popular hits from top-flight artists, along with 50 superb quality videos featuring a professional guitar instructor, the software is guaranteed to teach you a thing or two - hopefully more! In terms of content, Guitar Method is very comprehensive and provides more than enough theory and practical to keep budding guitarists happy. My biggest criticism is presentation. Considering the attractiveness of most modern software, Guitar Method's menu system and graphics look very dated. The program's interface can't even be resized of run full-screen, so it's constantly running in a small window. This is a minor niggle however, and as far as saying goes, content is king here.

Vuzix iWear AV310 Widescreen Reviewed
TestFreaks.com posted a review on the Vuzix iWear AV310

Last September I took a look at the Vuzix iWear AV920, and I found it to be a decent product overall, though not without its faults. Today I have the new Vuzix iWear AV310 Widescreen for review, and I've found them to be a great choice for someone looking for their own personal cinema or gaming experience. One of the great features of this product is that it can run for up to eleven hours on a single 'AA' battery, that's more than enough for most any viewing needs. It comes complete with connections for iPod and standard A/V as well. The idea behind Vuzix products is privacy, they are small and lightweight allowing you to take them anywhere with you really. So read on to learn more about them..

Nanovision MIMO UM-710 USB Monitor Review
OCModShop posted a review on the Nanovision MIMO UM-710 USB Monitor

If you're like one of many technology junkies today, then your computer of choice may be a laptop, which severely limits your multi-mon option s. Today's laptops (and even netbooks) usually have an extra monitor port, but lugging around a full-sized LCD monitor with your laptop isn' t a feasible option. What if someone made a tiny little monitor that you could stow away in your laptop bag?

Nanovision did the thinking for you and introduced their MIMO UM-710 monitor, which is a cute little seven-inch secondary monitor. It is based on USB technology, so it is incredibly easy to hook up, and works on just about any modern computer. Unfortunately, your host computer needs a decent amount of horsepower to drive this thing, as we'll soon see.

EVGA X58 3X SLI Classified Motherboard Review
HotHardware posted a review on the EVGA X58 3X SLI Classified Motherboard

EVGA commonly produces their mainstream motherboard products first, while in tandem, begins work on their high-end enthusiast product. It's taken roughly four months since the time EVGA launched their first Intel X58 motherboard (the more than worthy X58 3X SLI) to follow it up with their enthusiast-class product, which we'll be looking at today. That board is EVGA's new X58 3X SLI Classified motherboard. With a whopping $425 price-tag, $125 higher than their baseline X58 motherboard, EVGA is confident that they have a board which can out-class all others in order to demand such a price premium. But what do you get for that extra $125? Read on to find out...

Galaxy GeForce GTX 260+ OC Graphics Card Review
Tech ARP posted Galaxy GeForce GTX 260+ OC Graphics Card Review.

The new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 comes with 216 stream processors, 24 more than the original GeForce GTX 260. This gave it a small 12.5% boost in texture fillrate while everything else remained the same. This small improvement, however, gave the GeForce GTX 260 new life and allowed it to better compete with the Radeon HD 4850.

Of course, there were many who felt that the increase in stream processors wasn't good enough. Not only overclockers but even graphics card manufacturers saw the potential in overclocking the improved GeForce GTX 260. The larger number of stream processors would only mean much greater improvements in performance with every hike in core speed.

Galaxy is one of those manufacturers who saw the potential in offering factory-overclocked versions of the GeForce GTX 260. Their Galaxy GeForce GTX 260+ OverClocked graphics card offers factory-certified clock speeds of 625 MHz core, 1350 MHz shader and 1050 MHz memory. Let's take a look at the card and see how it fares!

Antec CP-850w Review
XSReviews has posted a new review of the Antec CP-850w Power Supply

When it comes to PSUs, for years now the ATX unit has taken centre stage with little thought going into producing a different form factor. However, Antec have changed all this and decided that it is time for a revamp. Their new form factor, christened the CPX, is a lot bigger so as to allow more room for the guts and allow a less restrictive airflow. Electrically, it's just an ATX power supply but unfortunately the size means that a limited selection of cases can take the unit -- unless of course you're into modding. Antec clearly hope the new form factor catches on and their first model is the CP-850, but is all the hype really justified? Let's have a look...

OCZ FATAL1TY 550w PSU Review
Tech-Reviews.co.uk posted a review on the OCZ FATAL1TY 550w PSU

There are many components inside a PC which seem to be requiring increasing amounts of power as they seem to require huge wattages to function correctly. This is why the PSU market has advanced massively in recent years with PSU's with wattages up to 1200 watts and beyond not uncommon. Most PC's however will not require such a huge amount of power which is why there are many high performance, lower wattage PSU's currently on offer. With this in mind I introduce the: OCZ Fatal1ty 550w PSU.

Kingwin XT-1264 HTC Cooler Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the Kingwin XT-1264 HTC Cooler

New for 2009, Kingwin has replaced the RVT-12025 with a newer, updated tower cooler dubbed the XT-1264. Both models retain their machined individual copper heatpipe base with aluminum fin configuration coupled with a 120mm fan. The new cooler design is a few millimeters shorter than the old RVT but nearly 2"cm thicker for increased fin surface area. Heatpipe count has been increased from three to four for better performance and heat dissipation. Support for Intel's socket 1366 is also added.

Sapphire Toxic HD 4890 Vapor-X -- It really is Toxic
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the Sapphire Toxic HD 4890 Vapor-X video card

Guru3D tests the Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 Toxic Vapor-X edition graphics card.

Armed with a nice vapor chamber heatpipe based cooler and with it's clock frequency locked at a steady 960 MHz, this little beast is ready for some serious gaming action. And it doesn't stop there though, even the nice phat 1 GB graphics memory is clocked higher at 4200 MHz.

This is seriously one of the best Radeon HD 4890 cards we ever tested.

GIGABYTE MA790FXT-UD5P AM3 Motherboard Review
TweakTown posted a review on the GIGABYTE MA790FXT-UD5P AM3 Motherboard

AM3 has never looked so good. With support for both DDR2 and DDR3 on the same CPU, the possibilities with this platform are endless. We have already seen quite a few good boards come out, either supporting one or the other technology and some with both. But one thing remains constant; a good price and a pretty good performing board and CPU combo for the outlay.

Just recently we took a look at the little brother of today’s candidate from GIGABYTE; this new one is based on DDR3 memory and the 790FX chipset. Coning in at 179.99 U.S. Dollars over at Newegg , it’s a bit higher priced than most. But can it handle the pressure? Let’s see how it goes.

Maxcube Amoris 6010 Review
OCC has published a new review on the Maxcube Amoris 6010

For Maxcube's first case, I must say I am impressed with the features it brings to the table. Not only is the case sleek and stylish, but it has function as well. The case features two more front USB ports than most cases I've seen and is following with the new trend of bring eSATA to the front panel as well. Tool-free cases have been around for a while and Maxcube has integrated this feature into the Amoris. It even introduced a new concept to me, the external CMOS reset switch, which would be useful to any overclocker, as you wouldn't have to open the case to reset CMOS. Having the CMOS reset is nice, but it has been almost standard on high performance motherboard I/O panels for well over a year now. The case did lose some ground in the tests however, probably due to the fact it only runs on two fans. Nevertheless, for only having two fans, it kept up pretty well with the competition, which in the case of open air, had no fans, or with both the X-Fighter and Super Lanboy, had an average of three fans.

When on the look out for a new case to out fit your rig, you may have a peek over at what NZXT is producing. NZXT is still a young company, only being established in 2004. However, they have produced a fairly decent sized list of computer chassis, some with a very unique design and look.
