The Razer Abyssus Mirror has a simple and sleek design with only 3 buttons:the right button, the left button and the scroll button (including itswheel). The mouse itself is symmetric given the fact that it was designed to be ambidextrous, i.e. it can be used with either the right or left hand. Also, the Razer Abyssus Mirror has gamer-oriented features including an on-the-fly DPI switch, an on-the-fly polling rate switch and fully customizable buttons through software. Like many other Razer products, the Razer Abyssus features their signature Hyperresponse technology which maximises responsiveness and minimizes latency.Read more
Intel X25-V SSD: Just Fit for a System Disk
InsideHW.com has reviewed Intel X25-V G2 40 GB SSD
As the prices of NAND memory chips used to manufacture SSD devices don’t seem to be dropping lately, manufacturers are forced to work their way through to make them more accessible. Seeing that memory chips in a smaller production process (cheaper) aren’t expected before the final trimester of this year, Intel has decided to present their cheapest SSD with a capacity of 40 GB…Read more
AXLE Radeon HD 5670 Video Card Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the AXLE Radeon HD 5670 Video Card
Austin goes a little nutty and has benchmarked seven video cards on 8 benchmarks on his review of the AXLE Radeon HD 5670. He also does power consumption, overclocking and temperature testing all on the latest ATI CATALYST 10.6 and Forceware 257.21 video card drivers! A ton of benchmarking time went into this article as on games like Metro 2033 he benchmarked all the cards at two resolutions on DX9, DX10 and DX11 and took the average of three runs. That means he did nearly 100 benchmarks runs on just that one game title (not all cards could run DX11 if you are wondering why it wasn't 126 runs).Read more
We take a look at look at seven video cards around the $100 price point from both NVIDIA & AMD and run them on eight benchmarks at two resolutions to see how they perform. The goal for testing is to give the readers good feel of the AXLE Radeon HD 5670 video card and a feel for performance in popular game titles running OpenGL and DirectX 9, 10 and 11. The AXLE Radeon HD 5670 1GB we have here is a reference design model with a custom Arctic Cooling (or "ARCTIC" now) heatsink assembly identical to the one found on the AXLE GeForce GT 240 512MB we reviewed late last year. Searching various retailers found that there are only a handful of HD 5670's that have a overclock from the factory, and only in the realm of 10-15MHz on the core or memory, not on both...

Western Digital Advanced Format Performance Comparison Guide
TechARP posted their Western Digital Advanced Format Performance Comparison Guide
Advanced Format is mainly about expanding the capacity of hard disk drives. However, it does have some effect on performance. By packing in more data in less space, Advanced Format allows for higher areal density. So, we can expect higher sequential transfer rates from Advanced Format drives. The closer spatiality of the data blocks should also improve sequential seek times.Read more
Of course, all this is merely theoretical, based on what we understand about Advanced Format. To find out the exact effect Advanced Format has on the performance of the hard disk drive, we undertook to test two similar hard disk drives. The only difference is one supports Advanced Format, while the other uses the legacy sector size of 512 bytes. Let's take a look...

AXLE RADEON HD 5450 512MB GDDR3 Video Card Review
Madshrimps posted a review on the AXLE RADEON HD 5450 512MB GDDR3 Video Card
The RADEON HD 5450 from AXLE is a passively cooled video card with a very precise purpose: to be used in a single or multi-monitor setup for 2D applications or watching High Definition movies. The 3D performance is low, can be compared to the 4550 and it is not recommended for the latest games, but the card is passively cooled and should make for a nice HTPC component.Read more
