AMD Athlon II X3 445 3.1GHz Triple Core Processor Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the AMD Athlon II X3 445 3.1GHz Triple Core Processor

The AMD Athlon II X3 445 is the fastest triple-core processor in the Athlon II series with its overall clock frequency of 3.1GHz. With a street price of $84.99 and a 200MHz boost over its predecessor is the Athlon II X3 445 worth it? Read on to see how it performs in the benchmarks and to see how it handles being overclocked on our AMD 890GX test system.

The AMD Athlon II X3 445 was a processor I was looking forward to working with when the opportunity had presented itself. Not necessarily because it is going to be the fastest processor out there, but it only has three active cores. Whats that mean? Well, that most likely there is a fourth core under the heat spreader. With any luck I would be able to unlock the fourth core, and be able to test the AMD Athlon II X3 445 as a Quad Core as well. Fortunately there was a fourth core on the AMD Athlon II X3 445...

Dell 6-Core Studio XPS 7100 System Review
HotHardware.com posted a review on the Dell 6-Core Studio XPS 7100 System

Dell recently sent us one of their new Studio XPS 7100 desktops built around AMD's recently launched Phenom II X6 1055T processor. AMD's hexa-core chips don't pack the same punch as Intel's six-core architecture, but the upshot is you'll save a king's bounty by riding into the sunset with AMD, and in this case, with Dell as well. The configuration we're looking at runs $1,450 (currently on sale for $1,150), with lesser spec'd six-core rigs starting out at $699. To put that into perspective, Intel's sole six-core offering -- the Core i7 980X -- commands about a grand just for the processor alone...

Sapphire HD5670 Ultimate Edition CrossFire X Review
KitGuru posted a review on the Sapphire HD5670 Ultimate Edition Crossfire X

KitGuru really likes the HD5670 Ultimate Edition and it appears, based on feedback that our readers share similar warm feelings towards Sapphires latest passively cooled graphics card. While a single card is great for a low powered media center and occasional gaming we decided to follow up our initial review by seeing just what was possible with two of these in Crossfire X.

Would it be possible to game on a 24inch screen at native resolution while not having to compromise with image quality settings? Effectively giving us a high performing, yet basically silent gaming system.

Today that is just what we intend to find out.

ASUS GeForce GTX 465: A Step Down
InsideHW.com has reviewed ASUS GeForce GTX465 graphics card

As one would expect, after the new GPU and the models based on it have been presented, NVIDIA traditionally presents the next step in the mainstream direction. Up to now, that’s usually been models which offer marginally weaker performance at a much more accessible price. Just remember GeForce 8800GTS 320 MB, which was very popular upon premiering on the market, with the mere difference of half the memory of the stronger model present on the card, both based on the G80 chip. However, things aren’t looking as bright for the Americans this time around. GeForce GTX 480 and 470 were tremendously late, and disappointed a little in terms of performance even then, bearing the initial expectations in mind. Speaking of which, many expected GTX 465 to be an excellent graphics card, although we must admit that we were a bit sceptical. After the release of official specifications, our doubts only became more profound. No, performance wasn’t the issue, we were only trying to establish the chances it would have on the market as an all-rounded product…

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 470 OC Edition Review
Hardware Canucks posted a review of the new Gigabyte GeForce GTX 470 OC Edition video card

Gigabyte isn’t all that well known for their pre-overclocked cards outside of their Super Overclock series but they do have a whole range of moderately priced cards that do offer some additional performance. In this review we will be looking at the GTX 470 OC which features an overclocked core and Gigabyte’s Ultra Durable VGA design.

Canon PowerShot SD3500 IS Digital Elph Camera Review
TestFreaks posted a review on the Canon PowerShot SD3500 IS Digital Elph Camera

Canon was kind enough to send me over another digital camera for review, this one if the PowerShot SD3500 IS Digital Elph that is a bit unique in that the LCD on the back is actually a touch screen. On this camera there really aren’t many physical buttons or settings, everything is done via the touch screen and because of this it’s huge, taking up the entire back of the camera. Having this large screen is nice, but it being a touch screen you’ll find your fingerprints all over it obscuring your view. Other than the fingerprints the touch screen is sensitive and it works great. The camera itself takes very good pictures as you’ll see inside with the many samples I have for you.
