Hardwarecanucks posted a review of the Nexus NX-8040 400W Power Supply

The Nexus 400W power supply performed admirably under all of the high-stress conditions we put it under and it exceeded our expectations in nearly every performance category. The voltage regulation and efficiency are top-notch as is the presentation of the power supply itself. With every cable sleeved to perfection and more connectors than a 400W power supply has any business to possess, the exterior is nearly as impressive as the performance numbers.

BurnOutPC.com has posted their review on the Arctic Cooling Accelero S2 Heatpipe Videocard cooler.

Well, I'm pleased with the results. But I was not so happy about the compatibility issues this cooler has. If Arctic cooling made the mounting bracket just a bit larger, than it would be compatible with cards like the Jetway and Sparkle without a problem. Another problem I had were the fins touching the parts on the video card. An increase in height from the cooler would make things a lot easier and again a lot more compatible with all sorts of cards. The Accelero S2 comes with lots of bits and pieces which is great, the heat sinks make life for the memory a little bit cooler and the Arctic Ceramique is a nice addition although you don't have to use it since the cooler comes with pre-applied thermal paste.

Techgage posted a review of Antec's latest case

The Sonata was Antec's flagship case for it's time and set the standard for the competition. It offered quiet performance with an affordable price tag for the budget market, which made it a favorite among system builders. Two generations later, Antec is using the Sonata III to improve on it's legacy and offer builders the same quality and bang for their buck.

PC Apex have a review up of the Ultra Products X-Blaster Midtower Case

Looking around the outside of the case you will find a simple design with some accents here and there. The paint looks good and seems like it will hold up to every day use. The front face is completely plastic and houses four 5.25 bays, two 3.5 bays, power and reset buttons, a nice shiny ULTRA logo and vents on the side to allow for good air flow from the front intake fan. In the middle of the Power and Reset buttons are the Power LED (Blue) and the Hard drive activity LED (Green); both are extremely bright, almost too bright in the dark. The case also includes front audio, USB 2.0, and FireWire ports for your convenience.

OCC has published a new review of the Lapworks Futura Laptop Desk & Desktop Stand

Most people that have used laptops will tell you that one of the biggest drawbacks is the scorching heat that they produce. You're sitting there on a breezy day just surfing the web in a lawn chair, and while it might be comfortable outside your legs are hot enough to cook eggs. Or on the flip side, you are working at your desk with your laptop and have that uncomfortable slouch going on trying to type away on that compact computer. Wouldn't we all like to make our mobile computing experience more comfortable and less painful? Of course we would, and that is where the Futura from LapWorks comes in.

The TechZone has posted a review of the Thermaltake iXoft Laptop Cooling Pad.

You know how sometimes you see mall kiosks set up that sell those muscle relaxation pads? The ones with the gel inside so that you can stick them in the microwave for a warmth that will soothe your aching body? The ones that you can also stick in the fridge if you need to prevent swelling on a recently injured body part? Well, it turns out that these kinds of pads are just for your body. They get designed for your laptop as well.

Bit-Tech published a review of Revoltec's Rhodium case

When it gets right down to the final conclusions though, we reckon the Rhodium is a massive improvement over the retch-worthy Zirconium, which I am still not allowed to place anywhere in sight of passer-bys. The Rhodium is a handsome, quiet PC chassis with a superior construction and the overall product is let down only in a few minor areas. It still waits to be seen if the value of the case will stand up as we hope it will, but if it does then the Rhodium could well be a decently nice, quiet case for a gamer on a budget -- providing they can funnel some extra funds into cooling solutions.

HardwareLogic published a new system maintenance article

Henry David Thoreau once wrote, “Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity I say, let your affairs be as two or three, and not a hundred or a thousand; instead of a million count half a dozen, and keep your accounts on your thumb nail.” It’s advice that can not only make you feel better, but actually improve the performance of your system.
