Recently, Razer upgraded the Mamba with their latest 4G sensor technology. Today, I'm going to find out how good this new Mamba 4G gaming mouse stands up against some of today's cutting edge gaming mice.

Verdict:
With great ergonomics, decent weight to battery life ratio, dual wireless/wired abilities and other great features; the all new and improved Razer Mamba 4G is everything the original was and then some. The new 4G sensor really is a master piece of engineering and it alone makes the new Mamba a true successor to the original.

The Good:
+ Comfortable yet elegant design
+ Wireless or Wired options
+ Compact USB transceiver
+ Great ergonomics
+ Refined and user friendly software
+ Wireless mode works just as good as wired
+ Battery can be charged while still in the mouse (just plug in the USB cable)

The Bad:
- Right Hand Only model (lefties need not apply)
- No weight customization
- Only one USB cable included
- Slow and cumbersome to change from wireless to wired mode
- Battery while better than original is still only good for up to 16hours
- Software needs work as it does crash from time to time

Both units scored really well and we are expecting the very same out of what we are testing today.

The unit that we are testing today is the GW-EPS1250DA power supply. It is the third model in their Gold Class line of power supplies that we have managed to test to date and is manufactured by Great Wall, just as the others have been. This unit offers enough power for up to three graphics cards and still has plenty of power to spare for additional peripherals. The unit looks quite impressive on paper featuring six 12V rails, 100% continuous output at 50C and more.
