Biostar TPower I45 Review
Overclockers Online has posted a new review on the Biostar TPower I45

Overall I am impressed with Biostar's latest TPower offering, the I45. Performance is on par or better than the P35 and you get some added features such as PCI Express 2.0 and increased memory support. Overall layout is well thought out and shouldn't cause issues with any setup.

Kingston HyperX 2GB PC3-14400 XMP Review
ASE Labs posted a review on the Kingston HyperX 2GB PC3-14400 XMP

A few months ago, I reviewed a DDR3 kit from Kingston that supported 1800MHz operation at fairly fast timings. It was criticized by some that the modules did not include XMP information to aid in easy system setup. Fast forward to the current market and the KHX14400D2K2/2GX delivers XMP support.

PCPer posted a review on the Thermaltake Toughpower 1,500W Power Supply

The Toughpower 1,500W PSU features one of the highest output capacities of any PC power supply on the market today. However this is a 230V edition with limited availability in North America - that didn't stop us from reviewing it and putting all that power to the limits!

Sapphire HD 4870 512 MB Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Sapphire HD 4870 512 MB.

With the recent release of the new ATI 48XX GPU's we've seen something that we haven't seen for a while: Ati GPU's in a direct head to head competition with the offerings from NVIDIA. Not only in a price for performance standpoint, like usual, but from a performance standpoint.

The ATI 4870 GPU has been putting out synthetic benchmark numbers that rival the GTX-260; up and coming 4870x2 offerings are sure to put the GTX-280 by the side of the road from a performance standpoint.

We are lucky enough to have a Sapphire HD 4870 on hand to test, and today we're going to see if ATI has indeed managed to pull one out of the hat to level the playing field with the current offerings from NVIDIA.

Intel Atom vs. VIA Nano Platform Comparo
TweakTown posted a comparison review between Intel Atom vs. VIA Nano Platform Comparo

While we concentrate on this sector, the focus is now moving towards the lower end of the spectrum. VIA has really cornered this market in the past when it came to ultra compact PCs; EPIA has been VIA’s biggest success and with the evolution of the VIA processors, each generation has gotten just that little bit more capable. Now Intel has seen just how popular this is, we finally have some competition in this sector.

Today we will be pitting the Atom platform against the Nano platform. Who has the best performance and energy savings? – Well, we don’t know yet, but by the end of this we will have an informative answer to that. Let’s move on and check out the platforms individually before we get into the testing phase.

MSI P45 Platinum motherboard Review
Viper Lair takes a look at the MSI P45 Platinum motherboard

There are a few points that the Specifications don't cover. The first is MSI's new DrMOS and GreenPower, aimed at increasing power efficiency and lowering power usage. The P45 Platinum has some ye olde overclocking jumpers which allow you to increase the base FSB via hardware; personally I think this will be a little used feature by most. Enough time has passed that this would seem like a new feature to many, but the old(er) folks will remember these from days gone by when New Kids On The Block were cool. Like NKOTB, they should have probably remained in the past. That said, MSI's RapidBoost feature used in conjunction with the jumpers might better justify their inclusion.

Thermaltake BlacX Hard Drive Dock Review
Mikhailtech posted a review on the Thermaltake BlacX Hard Drive Dock

Adding more and more storage to one's PC is inevitable as more and more media files, applications, games, and random program installs are saved to a user's hard drive. Consequently, the need to transfer these files and the ability to easily back them up also increases. The Thermaltake BlacX makes life easier by allowing quick installations and disconnects of hard drives.

Cooler Master Silent Pro 700W Review
bit-tech published a review of Cooler Master's Silent Pro 700W power supply

So, would we buy the Silent Pro 700W? It certainly takes precedent over the now ageing but still hugely popular Corsair HX series, though when you compare it to the Dark Power Pro 650W it doesn't quite cut it. Don't get us wrong though, it's still an excellent purchase if you don't want a Be Quiet!, but be prepared to throw out the craptacular rubber surround because it can survive without it. On the whole, it feels like a very good product, but one attempting to be better than it is, albeit made up by a good price.

TRENDnet 200Mbps Powerline Network Kit Review
TweakTown posted a review on the TRENDnet 200Mbps Powerline Network Kit

Wireless networking technology is evolving rather rapidly with 802.11n Draft 2 Wi-Fi currently being the standard of choice when going out to the store and picking up the latest router. If you are in the right place, you also have the choice of connecting your devices to the outside world via 3G or faster HSDPA 3.5G and beyond. If you are really in the right place, you might have the option to use WiMAX. Wireless technology is a wonderful technology and it is really pushing radio to extreme limits.

What happens, though, when wireless isn’t appropriate for your home or office? Maybe wireless isn’t an option due to other devices interfering or the range you are trying to work with is just pushing it too much. Of course, there is the CAT5e or CAT6 networking cable option for local Gigabit networking, but if your house or office isn’t new and not connected up with this cabling, it can be rather messy having cables running around all over your floors.
