BIOS Magazine published a review on the HHB FlashMic DRM85, a high-quality microphone and recorder in a single system.

The FlashMic is one of the most important products that HHB has ever developed. For years we have been required to choose from a collection of consumer devices, or professional recorders using separate microphones. For the very first time, the FlashMic combines a high-quality microphone and recorder in a single, familiar, easy to use system that stores the audio in easily transferable, industry-standard formats - and with no removable media to worry about! The audio quality of the FlashMic is very good - perhaps not quite what it would be with the same capsule combined with a good studio mic pre-amp, but nonetheless easily up to any radio broadcast or podcast application. If you've got the budget and want to make professional-sounding recordings either in your office or on the road, you really can't do much better than the FlashMic.

DV Hardware has a new review online on the SteelSeries QcK mousepad

Years ago most people used a ball mice, in most cases together with a crappy cloth mousepad that you got somewhere for free. Together with the rise of optical mice, plastic mousepads become more popular among computer enthusiasts and gamers because these pads generally offer much better tracking and last much longer. It was more than five years ago since I've last had a cloth mousepad in my hands when I got the opportunity to test Steel Series's QcK mousepad, a premium cloth mousepad with a non-slip rubber base.

3D Game Man posted a review on the OCZ StealthXStream 600W Power Supply

This is clearly a budget power supply that's intended for affordable builds. This is certainly not a bad thing since many people are looking for a quality, well priced power supply. Let's face it, not everyone can afford a top of the line power supply. The OCZ StealthXStream 600W Power Supply will definitely fit most budgets. What gets me is the noisy 120mm fan. After all this power supply is named StealthXStream and has OCZ PowerWhisperT Technology.

Hardwarecanucks posted a review of the Tagan 2-Force II 600W Power Supply

The Tagan 2-Force II 600W power supply has a whole lot going for it; it has a good number of connectors and it performed above and beyond the call of duty in nearly all of our tests. It was extremely gratifying to see a power supply which is not 80Plus certified competing in the efficiency department with power supplies that have the certification. This unit also exhibits good performance in the voltage regulation and ripple suppression tests where it held its own against its closest competition. All of these things are huge benefits for the 2-Force II, yet there are a few things holding back this power supply from being perfect.

The Jam Jacket has a neat feature called the integrated Heaphone Management System. Does it make the Jam Jacket the leader of the silicon case pack or will it be a hindrance. We will take a closer look at this feature and give an overview of the DLO Jam Jacket. Let's get started,..

Motherboards.org posted an article on BAPCo's SYSmark 2007

As a reviewer and Editor I rely heavily on the test software used in our daily benchmarking and stability tests. That said it takes a bit of time and effort to learn the in and outs of the testing software and what compatibility issues it may have and how to workaround them. SYSmark from BAPCo has been a staple software program in our test bench almost since we started testing motherboards back in 1999. The SYSmark battery of tests has always been the test software that gave errors however as well and SYSmark 2007 is the worst yet.

MadPenguin.org posted a review on the DreamLinux Live CD

Right away, as the hype and hot air came oozing off this distro, I could not believe my eyes. On a machine that I have run no less than 13 distributions on, for the first time, I'm looking at what appears to be 640x400 resolution. This is inexcusable, considering no other distro has ever had this problem before. Thankfully, I have already done my partitioning prior to this, so a minor inconvenience like not being able to see the lower half of the installer is something that can be overcome enough to allow this review to continue. To be ultimately fair, the user who understands resolution challenges with Linux can enter the boot command to assign the preferred resolution, but for most people, this is not going to happen. Moving on...

CoolTechZone.com posted a review on the SanDisk Cruzer Contour Drive

To keep up with the rest of the industry, SanDisk has added another flash drive to its existing portfolio, the Cruzer Contour. It's an interesting new drive, to say the least, with an updated design and better performance. The design is perhaps one of the most intuitive ones we have seen in a while. Essentially, it's based around the slider design with a slight twist. You need to slide the drive backward and then forward to access the USB connector, and slide it forward and then backward to insert it back.

TrustedReviews posted a review on the Creative Zen Vision W 30GB Media Player

Creative's Zen Vision W is a capable media player, despite some flaws. The wide screen is bright and does a fine job of displaying movies. Audio performance is excellent and size-wise it really isn't that bad, though if I was being picky I'd have liked it to be a touch slimmer. £215 is also very reasonable for a widescreen player with so much capacity.
