HEXUS posted a review on the Compro VideoMate H900 TV Tuner

It's time for us to take a look at another product from Compro, indeed another TV tuner, the VideoMate H900. However, this time around there are a few differences. Firstly, the H900 is a PCI card rather than a USB tuner.

Intel's Core 2 Under Linux
Linux Hardware tried Intel's Core 2 under Linux

There's good news and more good news in the support category from Intel. First of all, since the motherboard hasn't changed for this new generation of chips, all the top-notch support found for the existing 975X support is still there. On the Intel motherboard I used in this review, all components are supported including ACPI, Ethernet, and on-board audio. All I had to do on my existing board to support Conroe was update my BIOS to the latest released on Intel's website.

In this somewhat belated preview, we shall look at the GeForce 7950 GX2, along with its GeForce 7900 GT and 7900 GTX stablemates.

Virtual-Hideout has posted a review on the Silverstone FP34 3.5" Card Reader

The FP34 crams a lot of essential connections into a small area, and incorporates the card reader in with these connections. The aluminum construction is solid and lightweight, so that won't be an issue for the LAN party traveler.

MGE Dragon ATX Case Review
PC Apex have a new review up on a case from MGE

The front door to the Dragon itself is very interesting. Composed mainly of a piece of clear plastic to diffuse the blue LED's and covered with a silver piece of plastic with the design of a dragon (with the Dragon logo), I applaud the overall design but give it poor marks in execution.

When you begin to crave high-end dual or quad GPU configurations, you must realize that a high quality and high capacity power supply is probably in your future. Ahhh, you just spent the last few days building that as close to silent PC that you can get and now it’s time to fire it up. You hit the power button and the beast comes to life and basking in the almost total silence when all of a sudden you hear this awful noise that kills the moment, what is it? It’s your hard drive. Well do I have something for you today, itÂ’s not a new silent hard drive it’s a hard drive silencer. Logisys sent me their new hard drive silencer to test out. Samsung Pro815 Review
TrustedReviews looked at the Samsung Pro815

That may sound a little cruel, but until last summer most of Samsung’s digital camera output had consisted entirely of the Digimax range of compacts that, while often technically competent and always reasonably priced, have been at best uninspiring, and at worst shoddily made, poorly designed and lacking in performance.

TrustedReviews looked at the Asus AiGuru S1 - Wireless Skype and Music

Generally speaking, people don't particularly want to know what VoIP is, or even Skype – they hear cheap or free phone calls and that's all they want to know. But having to plug in a headset, or even having to have your computer turned on can be a pain, and not to mention costly. With the extra hassle, they would sooner pay the higher rates.

Tweaknews.net has posted a review on the Apack ZeroTherm BTF90 Intel Duo Core / AMD AM2 Processor Cooler

I'll have to admit that when I first took the ZEROtherm BTF-90 out of its box, I was a little apprehensive. This being the first offering from a company I was unfamiliar with, I feared that I was looking at a gimmick cooler with questionable performance. As it turned out, my fears were unjustified; about the performance, anyway.

SilverStone Zeus ST85ZF Review PSU Review
PC Modding Malaysia posted a review on the SilverStone Zeus ST85ZF PSU

Being the heaviest PSU we have tested up to date, the Zeus ST85ZF is a beast. Although measures about 7.2 inches long, it was not a screamer. In fact, the Zeus ST85ZF was far silent than any high-end 80cm fan PSUs that we have tested. The overall build quality was also top notch and the packaging was near perfect. The Zeus ST85ZF easily handled our 4GHz overclocked Pentium 840 EE and an overclocked GeForce 7950 GX2 graphics card without a sweat. We believe this power supply will take anything you throw at it whilst maintaining rock stable voltages. The Zeus ST85ZF with its quad +12V rails, quad 6-pin PCI-E connectors and six SATA connectors, allows you to connect almost anything you can ever imagine. It supports NVIDIA's latest Quad SLI Technology right out of the box and it will most likely support next generation graphics cards.

With a nice bundle, attractive price for the size (just over $100 at
time of publication), and decent performance, I really have come to like this
little drive. To be truthful, it's replaced my wonky laptop HDD in a caddy for
daily shuttling, mainly because it's as simple as popping in and going. For
me, the main appeal of this drive was to keep my personal data separate from my new laptop that means GAIM, Thunderbird, Firefox, and two instances of Folding Home reside on here. The upshot? The applications load nice and fast, and unlike

MSI GeForce NX7600GT-VT2D256E Review
Viper Lair posted a review on the MSI GeForce NX7600GT-VT2D256E video card

Obviously, if you're interested in higher performance numbers, you're better off looking towards more expensive hardware. The MSI GeForce NX7600GT-VT2D256E is one of the better priced 7600GTs on the market and is readily available online of B&M (brick and mortar). Overclocking isn't the greatest to be honest, but since it's already clocked higher than many other 7600GTs, we won't ding the product too hard for that.

Dark Power Pro 600 Watt PSU Review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the Dark Power Pro 600 Watt PSU

Face it, high-end gamers PCs these days need a good power supply unit (PSU). The power consumption that a PC can create these days is a little unheard of. Increased transistor counts for processors (GPU/CPU) versus higher clock frequencies and most of all do not ignore the "Dual & Quad" trend. We have multi-core CPUs, and instead of one graphics cards we now have the option to double up graphics power with cards in SLI or Crossfire mode.

And with such factors in mind we land at a product line called BeQuiet! "Dark power Pro". The Dark Power Pro is a 600 Watt PSU which places it in the high-end segment. A PSU which (although not certified) is ready for SLI and Crossfire as it has dual 12 volts rails with 20 AMPs each, active PFC and smart fan technology.

ATI Radeon X1950 XTX 512MiB Review
HEXUS published a review on the ATI Radeon X1950 XTX 512MiB video card

With the same clock speed as X1900 XTX then, it's down to the new memory and a tweaked memory controller to give the X1950 XTX the edge. We can expect scenarios where memory bandwidth is gobbled up to see a gain with the new product. This includes high resolutions and where anti-aliasing & anisotropic filtering are cranked up, or to put it another way, the kinds of scenarios you'd subject a card like this to.
