XFX GTX280 XXX: Fast & Furious Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the XFX GTX280 XXX: Fast & Furious.

Just over two months have passed since the release of our initial article. XFX has sent us a replacement sample for the GTX280 which is completely free of from the electronic component hum we initially experienced. In addition to the GTX280, XFX also sent us their latest and greatest XXX version of the card for review. We decided to embrace this as an opportunity to compare the two cards in a head to head along with a number of other popular graphics solutions. Our intent is not to rehash the plethora of features already covered in great detail in the aforementioned article, but more to concentrate on serious testing and expound on those features that prove noteworthy with the more mature drivers we will be using.

OCZ Vendetta 2 Review
Bit-Tech published a review of the OCZ Vendetta 2

While the OCZ Vendetta 2 isn't silent, or the absolute best thermal performer, it strikes an excellent balance between them considering the £23 price tag. In fact, in some respects we think OCZ might be selling itself short at this price, or we'd happily pay a few quid more for some spare screws and gromits... and a new mounting mechanism. While it might not be up there with the big boys of the Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120 or Noctua NH-U12P in performance, /for the money/ there is very little able to touch the Vendetta 2's performance, both thermally and acoustically.

Up on the review block today is the Mach 1 900Watt Power Supply from Kingwin that not only looks great, but features an interesting modular cabling system that securely locks the cables into the PSU to insure they will not come loose. During my time with the Mach 1 I found it to be a very quiet and exceptionally stable power supply that will meet or exceed the demands of most high end system on the market today.

TweakTown posted a review on the Cooler Master UCP 700W Power Supply

For many years, the folks at Cooler Master have been in the business of creating aftermarket products for the DIY (Do It Yourself) crowd. Having begun as an OEM cooling manufacturer, they realized that more and more of us were very interested in making our own systems. After all, we can build to suit our own needs and save some money in the process.

More recently, they have delved into the performance segment of the market with offerings of power supplies, cooling and enclosures. Today's article will be covering one of their newer releases, the UCP series of power supply. UCP is an acronym for Ultimate Circuit Protection and the concept is to produce a power supply designed to meet the demands of the enthusiast crowd while offering an efficient design that will last for years to come.

Bigger is better right? Then it follows that two fans are better than one in which case the DuOrb not only has two but adds heatpipes and enough bling to satisfy even the most aggressive case modder. We stuck the DuOrb into our test rig for some overclocking and testing. Does the DuOrb cool as good as it looks?

Super Talent Pico-C Gold 8GB USB Flash Drive Review
APH Networks has published a new review on the Super Talent Pico-C Gold 8GB USB Flash Drive

From the initial introduction of USB flash drives to present day, this is one innovation that changed the way people carry data around. Back in the days of floppy drives and floppy disks with a formatted capacity of roughly 1.38MB, to the age of CD-RWs that was never able to take precedence as the prominent portable storage medium, and ending up to present day's popularity of USB flash drives -- how did it all come to be? Computer enthusiasts first embraced this new type of products years ago as a symbol of geekiness and a sort of unashamed pride. Bringing on 16MB, 32MB, and 64MB drives, I still vaguely remember how 'advanced' I was with a stunningly large 512MB SanDisk Cruzer Micro. "It's so compact and convenient," as we used to call it. Times have changed, and I still remember us praising the OCZ Mini-Kart over two years ago on how unbelievably small it is. How two years can mean so much in the technology world! This time, however, Super Talent makes its attempt to redefine the market of unbelievably tiny USB flash drives with the Pico-C -- but while they're at it, they are unwilling to lose the capacity war with the drive available up to 8GB of storage, and claims to be a winner in performance as well. Huge ambitions? We'll see how they live up to that.
