Since laptop hard disk drives(HDD) are getting faster, bigger and also cheaper to replace it is only natural for those with laptops to upgrade their existing HDD's. But what do we do with the extra 2.5' HDD's we just upgraded from? They're too small and too slow to be used as backup drives for our laptop/desktop computers but we can always use a large capacity portable device so we can transfer movies, music, or pictures between one computer and another.Rosewill RX82-MP-SUF82-BLK Review
If that HDD happens to be a 2.5' HDD you're in luck, they are some of the most flexible HDD's out there. The Rosewill RX82-MP-SUF82-BLK uses the best attributes of a 2.5' HDD, and makes these little HDD's portable. 2.5' HDD's are not as cumbesome to carry around like their 3.5' HDD cousins, these smaller drives also require a lot less voltage to operate, relieving the use of needing to carry not only the portable HDD but also a power adapter. In most cases the 2.5' HDD is a lot quieter while they are in operation.

About one week ago I took a look at the Thermaltake Max 4 USB and eSATA external hard drive, and I found it was a decent product. Today for review I've got another Thermaltake External Hard Drive Enclosure called the Vi-on. This one is very different from the Max 4 in style, and looks, it's very sleek and sort of artsy looking, it does feature both USB and eSATA connections and a separate, removable base. The Vi-on is also partially tool-less for the installation, and the hard drive rests on springs to help dampen vibrations while the entire enclosure is cooled by a small, silent fan. I've put compared it to several others I've got on hand, read on to find out the resultsThermaltake VI-ON 3.5" SATA Hard Drive Enclosure eSATA and USB
Western Digital WD TV Mini Media Player Video Review - Where's my HD?
TweakTown posted Western Digital WD TV Mini Media Player Video Review
Back a few months ago, Western Digital impressed us when it launched its very first media player, the WD TV. It was an affordable device that allowed you to playback HD movies, music and pictures on your display through a USB storage device, such as a pen drive or portable hard drive.Western Digital WD TV Mini Media Player Video Review - Where's my HD?
Fast forward a little and Western Digital has just come out with the WD TV Mini. It is a smaller, more portable and cheaper version compared to the WD TV, but it lacks one very important feature – HD support and HDMI output. It does, however, impress in certain areas - especially with 1080i upscaling and a very small size and attractive styling.

Towards the end of last year, Rutledge reviewed the Razer Moray In-Ear Headphones, a set of light weight earbuds perfect for those gamers on the go. While also offering compatibility with all sorts of mobile devices, such as multimedia cell phones, MP3 players and personal game consoles, the Moray could also be used on a PC with the included adapter. However times have changed, technology has advanced, and gamers demand more. Wouldn't it be great if they would make a set of travel buds with an inline mic so you could frag on the go and still communicate with the rest of your clan? Or how about being able to call your virtual dog's name or blow on a hot dish, fresh out of the oven without having to talk directly into the screen of your DS? Razer has you covered, as they release the Moray+ mobile gaming communicator.Razer Moray+ Mobile Gaming Communicator Review

We recently talked about how to put Power over Ethernet (PoE) into your home and even showed you how simple it can be to get this great technology up and running with a home security system. But how does the other half live? Have you ever wondered how PoE is implemented in the enterprise? Well, if you have then we have a nice treat for you. We have had the chance to take a look at TRENDnet's TPE-80WS 8-Port Web Smart PoE Switch and see just how powerful and functional this switch is in an enterprise setting.TRENDnet TPE-80WS 8-Port Power Over Ethernet Web Smart Switch Review
As with all enterprise class products, you are going to pay more for each device. However, you are also going to get a higher class of product. As enterprise products simply have to work 24/7, they need higher quality cooling, better components and better features. This is why the TPE-80WS will set you back a cool $250 U.S. Dollars, but this is not a bad price for the features and performance TRENDnet is advertising.

The heasink over the PCH is massive and dominates the real estate on the bottom side of the ROG Maximus III Formula. The VRM heatsinks look small by comparison to what is used on some of the current X58 and older hardware. This may well be ASUS's Extreme Design concept in action. More equal loading of the power phases reduces hot spots by spreading the load so a smaller heatsink may well do the job. The heatsink in the middle lights up when the board is powered up.Asus ROG Maximus III Formula P55 Preview
