Intel E6750 Core 2 Duo 1333MHZ FSB Processor Review
Tweaknews.net posted a review on the Intel E6750 Core 2 Duo 1333MHZ FSB Processor

The people that will be taking advantage of this new processor will be the new system builders trying to get their best bang for the buck at the moment. Seeing this processor can be purchased for under US$200, it is a lot cheaper than the US$320 E6700 it is replacing. In my opinion, Intel is inviting people to take advantage of this processor by cutting the price so drastically that the price difference could allow you to buy the different motherboard to take advantage of it.

Tripp Lite Smart1000LCD UPS Review
techPowerUp posted a review on the Tripp Lite Smart1000LCD UPS

Most users these days know to at least protect their PCs with a surge protector, but in truth, that is not nearly enough. Surge protectors do not protect against blackouts, brownouts or "dirty" power, but an interruptible power supply can. Today we takes a look at the Smart1000LCD UPS from Tripp Lite. It is a 1000VA / 500W unit with a blue backlit LCD display that provides real-time power status.

Panasonic Viera TX-32LXD700 32in LCD TV Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the Panasonic Viera TX-32LXD700 32in LCD TV

AV purists that we unashamedly are, there's no doubt whatsoever that the 32LXD700 is a hugely impressive LCD TV thoroughly deserving of its 9 out of 10 overall score. But it would nonetheless be remiss of us if we didn't point out that if you're not bothered by the 32LXD700's extra audio power, third HDMI and SD card slot, you can actually get the same terrific picture quality from Panasonic's 32LXD70 model for a good few quid less. The choice is yours.

As a NAS appliance the easyStore leaves a lot to be desired as its features are very basic. Nevertheless, it offers plenty of storage for the price and its iSCSI based data backup and bare metal recovery features make it a unique proposition.

Thermaltake Tai-Chi M+ Review
Bjorn3d takes a look at the Thermaltake Tai-Chi M+ notebook cooler

As notebooks become more powerful, they are also getting hotter. Many of today’s gaming notebooks are made with high performance CPU, dedicated GPU, and a fast 7200 rpm hard drive. These components offer excellent performance but also generate tremendous heat, something you don’t want to find on your notebook. Unlike desktop components, notebook components usually are not replaceable and even if they are, it is usually not easy to do by average users. Hence, the cooling of the notebook components are highly dependant on the level of craftsmanship used by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, due to the need to keep the notebooks light, sometimes it is not easy to offer the best cooling for all the top of the line CPU, GPU, and hard drives inside that one-inch portable unit.

VisionTek Radeon X1300 PCI Video Card Review
OCModShop posted VisionTek Radeon X1300 PCI Video Card Review

Yes, you read that right. A video card that uses the classic PCI bus: all 33Mhz of it. VisionTek has offered a few unique options with the ATI graphics chips they use. They are the only manufacturer of a Radeon X1600XT with an AGP flavor, and now this X1300 with PCI interface.

The Radeon X1300 was designed to be a PCI Express graphics chip, and VisionTek has ported it to the classic PCI bus. I wondered why anyone would even bother doing this, since there are already tons of AGP and PCI-Express versions of the X1300 with both 256 and 512MB of memory. There are a few reasons why a classic PCI card might be handy, especially for compact Home Theater PC, which would benefit from a low profile video card.

Ultra X3 600w Power Supply Review
OCIA.net takes a look at the Ultra X3 600w Power Supply in their latest review

There are a lot of power supplies out there today boasting a variety of features. Between modular power supplies and super silent ones, it can be really hard to find exactly what you need. Ultra Products is trying to make this decision an easy one with their X3 Power Supplies. They really set their eyes on the prize when designing these power supplies, and it shows. The X3's have all of the hottest features that everyone is looking for these days: a fully modular cable system, a silent 135mm fan, flex-force sleeved cables, and extreme (85%) efficiency. Asus Xonar D2 Review
Bit-Tech published a review of the Asus Xonar D2 Soundcard

Asus is onto a winner in some respects - the bundle is the best we've seen to date, the card is made extremely well and includes some awesome features. However, these features are still identical to the CMedia Oxygen chipset we've been looking at for nearly the last year now. The software included has potential, but it's the usual "looks good and sacrifices ease of use" and the drivers in Vista still need some work, but its certainly better than the CMedia Oxygen drivers (although not its software). If you were a hardcore gaming nut, you still wouldn't buy this over an X-Fi - that's a given, but for the casual to regular gamer it will still suffice and with more and more games including Dolby features over EAX, like Bioshock for example, both cards should offer an equal temptation.

Kingwin Gladiator Hybrid Liquid CPU Cooler Review
Virtual-Hideout posted a review on the Kingwin Gladiator Hybrid Liquid CPU Cooler

Who here hasn't wanted a water cooled CPU, but was too worried about leaks or pump failures ruining their systems? Well, I know that back in the day I wanted such a setup, but cost and lack of experience held me back. Fast forward to today, and we now have a simple, self-contained, compact, water-cooled cooler from Kingwin that attaches directly to the processor. The KWI Gladiator Hybrid Liquid Cooler uses air and water to cool a set of heatpipes that attach to a copper plate. Once again, this is done in a small, all-in-one, compact package.

TiVo HD Review
TheTechLounge posted a review on TiVo HD

The TiVo HD is the mainstream consumer Series 3 TiVo. At $300, the device is more palatable to consumers who balked at an $800 price tag. The box has a smaller hard drive than the original Series 3 box, and doesn't come with OLED screen, THX certification, or a fancy case. So how does a $300 HD set top box work? Well, I will say it wasn't boring.

LTB Q-Bean U Review
OCC has published a new review of the LTB Q-Bean U

One creative and useful aspect of the Q-Bean is the way that the multi-function keys work. Below is a close-up view of the front, the left, and the right side of the Q-Bean. The button on the left side is the Power key. Press it to turn the device on. Toward the top of the Q-Bean on the same side is the input jack for the earphones. The tiny hole next to the jack is the location of the microphone. The other button on the opposite side is the Reset button. Use this to reset the device if it is not functioning properly. Also pictured is the USB port that allows you to recharge the battery. The three buttons on the face are as follows: Vol- (Press 1 second)/Reverse (Hold 3 Seconds); Pair (only used when the device is fist installed)/Play (Press 1 second)/Pause (Press 1 second)/Power off (Hold 5 seconds); and finally the Vol+ (Press 1 second)/Forward (Hold 3 Seconds). The addition of the multi-function keys definitely helps to streamline the interface while keeping the Q-Bean simple and easy to use.

Xigmatek HDT-S1283 Exposed Copper Heatpipe CPU Cooler Review
Benchmark Reviews published a review on the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 Exposed Copper Heatpipe CPU Cooler

Heatpipes have not been an integrated part of the CPU heatsink for very long now, but the tall design with a fan fixed to the front has already been done several times over. Copper heatpipes, and later copper bases, helped reach the coolest temperatures available from air cooling, but enthusiasts didn't have to wait long for the next advancement. Xigmatek has delivered the HDT-S1283 Exposed Copper Heatpipe CPU Cooler with 120mm cooling fan, and Benchmark Reviews is simply amazed by the unprecedented results. PowerColor Radeon HD 2900 XT 512MB Review
Elite Bastards posted a review on the PowerColor Radeon HD 2900 XT 512MB video card

PowerColor's Radeon HD 2900 XT board is based entirely on the reference specification from clock speeds to cooler - As we just covered, that means a core clock of 740MHz, with GDDR3 memory clocked at 825MHz.

PowerColor's offering features that flame-imbued, dual-slot cooler, which sits atop the large heatsink with two heat pipes that cover the R600 GPU core. CrossFire is supported via two inter-GPU connectors (which are hidden behind the cooler in this shot), and the required power to run the board comes via a combination of a six-pin and eight-pin PCI Express connectors (although two six-pin connectors can also be used, with the eight-pin link only required to enable ATI's OverDrive overclocking functionality).

Archos is the company to look out for. Their products have been generally impressive historically, and the 405 promises to be another star in Archos' sky of product line. The Archos 405 is a small, portable unit that's designed to fit in your pocket. With the silver color scheme that sets a classy, sleek tone of the product with a row of buttons on the right edge, it's a natural fit for most users. The controls are slightly awkward with skip forward/backward functions located on the same key, but Archos has given the top and bottom functions their own keys.

Creative Zen MP3 Player Review
CoolTechZone.com posted a review on the Creative Zen MP3 Player

While much of the consumer electronics world is focused on Apple's iPod, Creative is in a world of its own. It's refreshing, to say the least, especially when the company is actively kicking it. The latest music player to hit Creative's product line is the Zen, as if we haven't had enough of Zen to begin with. Really, somebody at Creative must really love the name Zen, since they aren't willing to let it go. It's meant to replace Zen Vision:M when it debuts soon. Despite the stale name, it promises to be a fine, very fine, player. Here's what it has to offer...

The CoolPix S50c is an attractive and well-made camera, and the WiFi capability is both useful and easy to use, but its sluggish performance, unimpressive picture quality and very slow AF system are major problems. The Brother DCP-9040CN is a well-designed colour laser, multifunction machine which does pretty much what the company claims. For all that, it's not particularly cheap to buy or run. Print quality is slightly above average and print speeds are good, but there's little expansion potential, if your company grows.
