Nokia 8600 Luna Review
BIOS Magazine posted a review on the Nokia 8600 Luna

The 8600 Luna is a definitive design statement from Nokia, the world's largest manufacturer of mobile phones. Typically twice the cost and weight (107x45x15.9mm, 140g) of most modern mobile phones, the 8600 Luna is not the type of handset you'll want to handle carelessly. In fact, after you've spent a cool 549 (contract-free) you'll not want to let it leave the safety of your sweaty palms.

Intel Tigerton - first look at current and upcoming enterprise server propositions
HEXUS.net takes a look at the Intel Tigerton

Core Microarchitecture has been around over a year but it's only now that Intel is introducing a four-socket solution. In our first look at current and upcoming server propositions for the enterprise market, we check out the fastest Tigerton Xeon CPU, the X7350, and the one with the lowest power draw, the X7345, to try to see if these strong CPU cores can overcome the disadvantage of an ageing system-interconnect design

Buffalo Nfiniti WZR-AG300NH Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the Buffalo Nfiniti WZR-AG300NH

There has been a mass of controversy surrounding the draft 802.11n standard but the fact that the mighty Cisco has recently announced support will give it a huge boost in acceptance for business use. Note that the WZR-AG300NH is only draft 1.0 compliant but it is offering a veritable feast of wireless features. However, this router is comparatively expensive so unless you really feel the 802.11a support is of benefit then consider D-Link's DIR-655 as this offers a lot more features and equally good performance for a lot less hard cash.

Mio Digiwalker A501 GPS PDA Phone Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the Mio Digiwalker A501 GPS PDA Phone

Mio's A501 is a reasonable stab at melding both smartphone and sat-nav. It has a touch-screen, which mobile phones with sat-nav bolted on generally don't, and it's also smaller than most PDA phones with GPS. If you truly don't want to be bogged down with yet another gizmo when popping out and about, it's worth considering for these features alone - especially as the driving guidance is so good. Overall, though, there are just too many other flaws for a wholehearted recommendation. The screen's too reflective, the software slightly laggy and the phone itself isn't the prettiest or the most fully featured. And if that lot doesn't put you off maybe the £334 price tag will.

Thermaltake TMG ND5 8800-series GPU Cooler Review
Hardwarecanucks posted a review of the Thermaltake TMG ND5 8800-series GPU Cooler

Thermaltake claims that their TMG ND5 heatsink offers superior cooling and acoustical performance over the stock Nvidia 8-series heatsink and we have found that it does exactly that though to varying degrees of efficacy. The build quality of this heatsink is top-notch and this fact plays itself out to good effect in nearly all of the performance tests.

Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Edition Review
OCModShop posted a review on the Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Edition

As the name suggests, the TripleHead2Go Digital Edition improves over their previous model with the replacement of analog VGA to completely digital DVI, both for input and output. This new unit will still take regular VGA as a source, and outputs to three different monitors. To add even more flexibility, you can mix and match monitors however you wish: not all of your monitors have to be digital. Your multi-monitor setup can include 2 analog monitors and a digital LCD panel, a 3-LCD setup, or any other combination. If you can't scrounge together 3 monitors, then don't worry: the unit will also function as a DualHead2Go, and you can add another monitor later.

Killer NIC Review
XSReviews has reviewed the Killer NIC from Bigfoot

Even though CPU's are getting more and more powerful, with a large percent left idle, there are more dedicated add-in cards than ever. With physics processing units (PPU's), GPU's, it isn't so strange that there is a NPU (network processing unit). That's exactly what BigFoot have brought to the table with their Killer NIC which has a fairly hefty price tag, and hopefully performance to warrant the expense.

AMD Quad-Core Opteron (Barcelona) Technology Report Part 2
Tech ARP posted part 2 of their AMD Quad-Core Opteron (Barcelona) Technology Report

The AMD Barcelona has finally arrived, kicking and screaming after an extremely long pregnancy and an arduous birth. The new quad-core Opteron 8300 and 2300 series of processors is the culmination of years of effort and work.

Will it pay off for AMD? Well, this is the real test for the processors. All the benchmarks in the world (simulated or otherwise) will not tell us if the AMD Barcelona will sink and swim. That's for the marketplace to decide.

Thermaltake LANBOX Lite Enclosure Review
Virtual-Hideout posted a review on the Thermaltake LANBOX Lite Enclosure

At the beginning of the year I reviewed the Tt LANBOX enclosure. This month I will be going over the Tt LANBOX Lite. The Tt LANBOX Lite is a fully modular system where all the components can be removed from the body of the enclosure for easier installation. There are front panel mesh and side panel openings for increased airflow, and front and rear fans help with the air flow to keep all the components cool. Also, let's not forget to mention that Piano finish that I love so much. So what makes this version lite" compared to the previous version a few months ago? I guess we will find out all the details in this review.

Sandio 3D Game O' Mouse Review
TheTechLounge posted a review on the Sandio 3D Game O' Mouse

Mice are a critical, yet lower cost component of your high performance PC. A cheap $9.99 mouse might not be able to get you very far in your quest to become the champion of your favorite game. Sandio shipped us their new 3D Game O' Mouse. Quite the mouthful, huh? I'm not quite sure what the "O'" is in there for. Product naming aside, Sandio is promoting the mouse as innovative. By allowing the user to manipulate the mouse with additional four-way HAT switches located within easy reach, the mouse can simulate a full six degrees of freedom - you'll be able to move throughout 3D space fluidly. It sounds interesting, but how well will I be able to move through space? Will it give me an edge in games? Will 3D applications, like Google Earth and Doom, and 2D arenas, like Photoshop and Warcraft III, be improved by the 6DOF?

NZXT Lexa Blackline Case Review
3D Game Man posted a review on the NZXT Lexa Blackline Case

If you are looking for an affordable case with excellent air circulation, plenty on drive bays, fits an nVIDIA 8800 Video Card and has holes for an external water cooling system I would definitely recommend this product. These are the key features you should be looking for in a case and it does have that. It also has other features like a tool-less design, external ports, dust filters, cable management cage, and more. Despite all this I can't get past the looks.

Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 Review
OCC has published a new review of the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000

Most webcams have a round shape and a stand. This one takes a whole different approach so that it is installable on all types of monitors and LCD screens, and is at eye level so you don't have to look down and away from the screen. There is a button on the left hand side to take a quick snap shot without having to run the QuickCam software. The clip is not a normal spring-loaded clip, but rather a manual clip, making it adaptable for any flat display.

Kingston 8GB DataTraveler II Plus Review
The TechZone has posted a review on the Kingston 8GB DataTraveler II Plus.

The 8GB Kingston DataTraveler II Plus USB Flash Drive is not the most capacious on the market, but with a full 8GB in your pocket, you have the ability to store quite a bit of stuff. To make things a little more interesting, Kingston has also included something that they call Migo software into the package. Basically, Migo lets you take your computer settings on the go, converting whatever computer you use to your personal preferences and then reverting back these settings when you're done, leaving no trace of your passing by.

Dell Inspiron 530 Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the Dell Inspiron 530

Dell's latest range of home user PCs are better looking than ever and for the basic models, they're still as cheap as chips. However, as soon as you start adding extras to your configuration the price quickly rises and alternatives from other manufacturers may be worth a look. Also, the down turn in the quality of Dell's monitors means I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your display.

First look at Gigabyte's GA-X38T-DQ6 motherboard
Bit-Tech published a first look at Gigabyte's GA-X38T-DQ6 motherboard

Gigabyte's GA-X38T-DQ6 is a board we've found great favour in. We've found it very hard to fault the layout if you choose a heatsink that doesn't need to be bolted to the motherboard and even as an engineering sample it's worked flawlessly throughout our testing. There has been some niggles with the Ethernet adapters but the retail boards are working as expected and should be shipping very soon.

It's been a fantastic board to work with even in this early stage, but from the looks of pre-orders, it will be expensive at around £190. Therefore only time will tell if the bundle, stability and extra features due from Intel make it worth the while. Nvidia could command a price premium on the nForce 680i SLI because it had EPP and SLI, but is CrossFire and Intel's Extreme Memory held in the same regard? At least the X38 chipset should provide a diverse range of motherboard options, unlike the nForce 680i SLI, and being an Intel chipset we'd expect it to be far more reliable as well.

Kingwin Mach 1 ABT-800MA1S 800 Watt Modular Power Supply Review
Tweaknews.net posted a review on the Kingwin Mach 1 ABT-800MA1S 800 Watt Modular Power Supply

Kingwin has a very solid performer here. Modular cabling, near silent unning, and solid voltages all make for a winning combination. I liked the attention to detail, which is rare in the PSU market at this price point. The finish is flawless, the modular cabling is solid, without that sloppy feeling plastic connectors can give.

XFX GeForce 8600 GT Fatal1ty video card review
Elite Bastards posted a review on the XFX GeForce 8600 GT Fatal1ty video card

We've already given away the major assets of the GeForce 8600 GT Fatal1ty in our introduction, so you probably won't be too surprised by what you see below - A passively cooled board, with a core clock speed of 620MHz (80MHz above reference speed) which also gives a shader core clock of 1355MHz, while the 256MB of memory on-board is clocked some 150MHz faster, at 850MHz.

XFX's passive cooler is a pretty luscious looking affair, far more stylish and sleek than either of ASUS' recent passively cooled GeForce 8600 offerings. At the front of the board is a largish heatsink which covers both the GPU core and memory - This is attached via two heatpipes to the larger heatsink which hovers above both the top and rear of the board to dissipate that heat. Aside from the cooler, the PCB is as you'd expect from a GeForce 8600 GT, with no external power requirement and SLI support in the usual fashion.
