Samsung F400 Bang & Olufsen Music Phone Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Samsung F400 Bang & Olufsen Music Phone

Now, phones aren’t usually my forte, but when Samsung asked if I wanted to review their new MP3 spouting mini-boom box of a phone, I couldn’t really say no. The real clincher was the Bang & Olufsen speakers embedded in the phone, which appealed to the audiophile in me.

Unpacking it from its box, we can see that what the customer demands from a phone manufacturer these days is EVERYTHING. You get much more than just a charger and a little headset; with this phone we get a beefy looking set of headphones with in-line mic, data cable, software and a 1GB MicroSD card to boot.

The Petito is a great little USB drive, it's tiny, waterproof, dustproof, ESD proof and shock resistant as well, overall it's a great little drive that can also help do something good for people.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale Review
Hardware published a review of the Intel Core 2 Duo E8500

In the review, we compare it against the Core 2 Duo E6750, which it essentially replaces for the same price, as well as AMD's current top dual-core, the Athlon 64 X2 6400+. Finally, the Core 2 Quad Q6600 is included, since it has dropped in price to the point where it is just about the same as the E8500. What's better, a pair of newer, faster cores, or four slower cores based on slightly older architecture? Read on to find out!

We also push this CPU to its air-cooled limits in order to see how far it will overclock. The results were pretty surprizing to say the least!

TestFreaks.com posted a review on the Vuzix iWear AV920

Up on the review block today is an interesting accessory that can be used with basically anything with a video output, it allows you to have a personal theater experience that you can take with you. The product is from Vuzix and it's the iWear AV920, it allows you to have the equivalent of a 62 inch screen for your own personal viewing pleasure. It's basically a set of futuristic looking glasses with two LCDs screens inside, attached to the sides are also built in headphones. In my time with the iWear AV920 I've found it to be an interesting product to be sure, that does have its usefulness and some unique features that most people will appreciate.

Evercool Transformer 6 CPU Cooler Review
Virtual-Hideout posted a review on the Evercool Transformer 6 CPU Cooler

So here it is. A well marketed, acceptably manufactured, and very difficult to install cooler, marred only by it's substandard performance... it really seems like everything went downhill since I opened the box. While there are a number of good ideas here, they all falter on the same lines. Let's start with the simplest one. By layering the two sets of fins over each other, a lot of the heat dissipated just goes to return, and heat up the fins below. This isn't the first time, or the first company to have this problem, nor are they to try and alleviate it in a simple manner - put the cooler fins on top.

Dell Studio 1535 Review
InsideHW.com has posted a review on the Dell Studio 1535 notebook

In all probability people in Dell came to a conclusion that there is a gap between Inspiron and XPS notebook series so they decided to fill that gap with new Studio series of notebooks. This new notebook brand was presented to public in June this year and models sold under this name are intended for home users. Studio series is positioned between Inspiron and XPS series not only by its market position and price tag but also it is visually mix of those two series. By its design it leans more to XPS series (logically) because it is more attractive.

Overclockers Online posted a review on the G.Skill 2x2GB PC2 8800 (F2-8800CL5D-4GBPI)

To sum things up, the F2-8800CL5D-4GBPI is a good kit as long as you don't expect too much above stock speeds. However, with attractive heatspreaders and even more attractive prices of DDR2, this is a great kit to add 4 gigabytes of memory for very little dough.

Kingston is one of the big wigs when it comes to producing memory modules. Kingston HyperX memory modules have made some impressive strides; the DDR2 modules are amongst the highest quality out there. And with DDR3 showing clock frequencies up to the 2000MHz range now, Kingston is on the front line of clock power.

Today Kingston enters the XMP market with the highest clocked XMP kit we have seen thus far, that being 1800MHz. Let’s see how it compares to our OCZ XMP 1600 modules.

Palit HD4850 Review
OCC has published a new review on the Palit HD4850

After seeing the results that the custom cooled MSI HD4850 delivered on the overclocking front I was eager to see if I could duplicate that same success on a reference card. The answer is no I could not, but I came close. After all the time spent searching for that ideal mix betweeen GPU core clock speed and the memory clock speed I was stopped at 675MHz on the GPU core and 1075MHz on the memory. Not massive clock speed increases but enough to go to the mat for it. With these increases came the corresponding increase in performance. Seen mostly at the higher end of the gaming benchmarks. By comparison, the clock speeds for the MSI card were 25MHz higher on the core and 1187MHz on the memory. Close, but no cigar on beating those clock speeds. To get the clock speeds of 675MHz on the GPU core and 1075MHz on the memory I used a software application called AMD GPU Overclock Tool to make changes outside the range available in the Catalyst Control Center.

Thermaltake Ramorb Review
Rbmods posted a review on the Thermaltake Ramorb

With todays fast ram sticks the heat issue is what stops overclockers from going forward. Because of this we have seen a few manufacturers that made new heatsinks for their ram sticks. Thermaltake has another solution on the market, it's actually a ram cooler with a fan on it. Now I have seen Thermaltake make products like this in the past but they have never really hit the market so I am quite curious to see if this can actually perform so lets get this show on the road.

A-DATA EeePC 8GB SDHC and Turbo 266X 8GB Compact Flash Review
Futurelooks posted a review on the A-DATA EeePC 8GB SDHC and Turbo 266X 8GB Compact Flash

When A-DATA asked me to check out a couple of their newer flash products, I was a little reluctant to take them out in the field. They simply don’t have the name or the mindshare that a SANDISK or a LEXAR has when it comes to high performance and reliability. Also, you really can’t tell if a card will be good or bad simply by running a few benchmarks on it. You really need to try it in different cameras and use it. Basically, just beat on it in day to day use. Despite my
hesitation, I have been using solely A-DATA memory cards for all my shooting needs over the last couple months, erasing, formatting, and punishing them just a little more than my highly trusted SANDISK Ultra II compact flash and SD cards.

Every now and then there is a manufacturer out there that tries to do something special with a product. What's different then you likely ask for this Palit graphics card ?

Well, the 1st thing you'll notice is a turbo switch, which allows you to select a second BIOS in an overclocked product state, we actually spot a display-port connector and next to that .. the USS enterprise actually was mounted on-top of the GPU as this product my friends, has one big cooler mounted on top of it.
