Scosche IDR350m Ear Buds Review
Hi Tech Legion posted a review on the Scosche IDR350m Ear Buds

Many different brands of ear buds have found their way into the iPhone market, which all include the inline microphone for speech reception. Not all, however, feature the ability to remotely answer the phone or to adjust the volume from the ear buds. Scosche has been producing iPhone accessories for quite some time, and one of their latest products is a set of white ear buds that incorporate volume control support for the iPhone. The Scosche IDR350m ear buds feature volume and microphone support for the Apple iPhone. The Scosche IDR350m ear buds are in ear speakers with responsive bass performance. Users will enjoy a full range of tones with added bass enhancements that produce a full, robust musical playback that rivals many full sized headphones.

Roccat Valo Review
XSReviews has reviewed the Roccat Valo keyboard

Well here it is folks, the review that many have been waiting for; not because I'm some ungodly talented reviewer, but because this product has been so tantalizingly close to release for so long now, it's become the hardware version of vaporware.

When Roccat stepped onto the gaming peripheral scene a few years ago, they were given as much attention as any other new company, not that much. However, after a few product releases, including the Kone mouse and the Kave headset, people began to take notice. One product in their line up that drew a lot of attention however, that was promised over two years ago at this point, had yet to be released, the incredibly sexy looking Valo keyboard.

Now however I am pleased to say it has finally been unleashed upon the masses, and I've managed to get hold of one; granted a few days after release, but still we have one, and we're taking a look at it. Lets see how it holds up to our stringent testing.

Dell Studio XPS 16 Review
HotHardware.com posted a review on the Dell Studio XPS 16

We had the chance to review Dell's Studio XPS 13 back in early May and found the machine to be sleek and stylish, and a good value. In an effort to provide that same sleek styling and great performance to those looking for a somewhat larger machine, Dell has now issued an updated Studio XPS 16 that seems to up the ante in a number of key areas. The 16" notebook realm is a bit less crowded these days than say the netbook sector and the full-on 17" desktop replacement arena, giving Dell the perfect opportunity to stand out and make a play for those dead-set on a 16" rig.

The Studio XPS 13 set itself apart from prior Dell notebooks by adding a touch of flair that was somewhat unheard of for the company previously. The all-black, low-profile keyboard coupled with the edge-to-edge LCD and subtle leather strip on the lid gave the Studio line a motif that even fashionistas could love, and all that's still firmly in place on the Studio XPS 16. Essentially, the machine we're testing today is just an oversized variant of the Studio XPS 13, but the extra room inside enabled Dell to beef up the specifications...

Intel Core i7 and Core i5 Lynnfield CPU Review
Hardcoreware posted Intel Core i7 and Core i5 "Lynnfield" CPU Review

After numerous setbacks, we are finally ready to publish our review of Intel's recently-launched Lynnfield platform, including Core i7 870 and Core i5 750 processors.

We have put together an entire new benchmark configuration starting with this review, built around Windows 7 64-bit and the latest drivers, software, and video games.

What's important today though, is the processors. It's clear that the original Core i7 was something of a stop-gap solution to introduce Nehalem. Now that Core 2 can no longer compete with AMD, Intel is ready to launch their native desktop version of Nehalem, codenamed Lynnfield.

XFX XPS-850W Power Supply Review
OCC has published a review on the XFX XPS-850W Power Supply

Cast your eyes back to page three and the cable length table. The peripheral and SATA cables are supplied in three different lengths - a nice touch, which may go a little way to helping with cable management and that uncluttered look. One small bone of contention is a Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) figure of 100,000 hours quoted at 25C. This temperature is totally unrealistic, especially if the power supply is heavily loaded.

PureOverclock posted a review of the Cooler Master Storm Sentinel Advance mouse and Battle Pad gaming surface.

With Cooler Master's first foray into the highly competitive mouse market, the Sentinel Advance looks extremely attractive, and Cooler Master appears to have hit all the right notes with this rodent. The features on the Sentinel also look to include just about everything but the kitchen sink. Aesthetics may help sell a mouse, but the comfort, ergonomics, and drivers are what often make or break the deal for most diehard gamers. We'll take a very close look today at each of these factors to see if Cooler Master can run with the big dogs or is left on the porch.

Intel's P55 Express Lynnfield Chipset Overview
TweakTown posted an Intel's P55 Express Lynnfield Chipset Overview

The extra cost hurt Intel with the mainstream community especially given the economic problems that happened in conjunction with the Core i7 original launch. AMD for their part saw an opportunity and acted. They priced their Phenom II X4 and chipsets to undercut Intel. They knew they could not compete with the Core i7 in a clock for clock war, so they hit the market where it counted; in the wallet.

However, Intel was not lying down they already had Lynnfield on the block and were working on providing a CPU to the mainstream that could offer the same advantages that the 1366 Core i7 could, but at a lower price. This CPU launched recently and it seems to be everything that Intel needed. It competes and even outperforms more expensive and higher clocked AMD CPUs while maintaining a lower price and power consumption.
