OCZ Agility Series SATA II 2.5" 60GB SSD Review
TestFreaks posted a review on the OCZ Agility Series SATA II 2.5" 60GB SSD

Today I'm looking at the new Agility Series of SSD Drives from OCZ Technology, specifically their 60gb capacity model. The Agility Series is the middle of the road product line, between the budget style and the high performance style, they're sold as a 'mainstream drive', or something for someone who wants good performance but yet wants a lower priced drive than other SSDs out there today. I've put the OCZ Agility Series SSD up against a few other drives including another SSD for testing and comparison, so read on to see how it performs

Noctua NF-S12B Fan Review
Hi Tech Legion posted Noctua NF-S12B Fan Review

Today's technological advances have covered the entire gambit from hardware to software, and the cooling components have seen the advancements, as well. Many fan companies now offer highly efficient fans that cool incredibly well, but offer very little in the way of noise contribution from the system. I currently have some of the quietest running fans in my one computer case and on the heatsink, that if it weren't for the case lighting, I would never know that they were on. These wonderful fans happen to come from a common name in computer cooling, Noctua. The Noctua NF-S12B 120mm fans are designed with noise control in mind. The Noctua NF-S12B fans can be run in three different fan speeds for performance versus noise, depending on your application. The included jumpers allow for fan speed selection to fine tune the performance, while keeping acoustical contributions in mind.

Asus P7P55D Deluxe Review
XSReviews posted a review on the Asus P7P55D Deluxe motherboard

The introduction of the new LGA1156 platform and Lynnfield CPUs inevitably brought with them a wave of new motherboards; this time it's the P55 PCH (Platform Controller Hub) that the boards are built around with the P57 to come.

ASUS are always on the ball when it comes to new releases and this is no exception with the P7P55D range including a number of different boards from the basic layout right up to the more expensive Premium and Pro editions. The Deluxe board, which we are looking at specifically today, can be considered a fairly typical ASUS motherboard with a Deluxe version in most series including the P45 and P6T ranges.

Typically, this board has a good reputation besides a few poor product releases in the past and so we are hopeful of yet another good offering here from the giant PC Company. Let's see what it's got to offer.

OCZ Agility EX SSD 60GB (SLC) SSD Review
Driverheaven posted a review on the OCZ Agility EX SSD 60GB (SLC) SSD

OCZ have just released their latest Agility EX drive which differs from anything we have reviewed in the past because it is the first SLC based SSD drive aimed at a price point to target the mass enthusiast market. While Single Level cell (SLC) and Multi Level Cell (MLC) are similar in design, MLC flash costs considerably less to produce and allows for higher storage density. The benefits with SLC flash drives are that they provide faster write performance and greater reliability, even at temperatures above the operating range of MLC Flash devices.

Hardware Secrets posted a review on the Zalman CNPS9700 NT CPU Cooler

Today we are going to review another CPU cooler from Zalman, CNPS9700 NT. Its design is very different from the ones we are used to see, with three 8-shaped heatpipes, nickel-plated looks and a 110-mm fan. Let's check if its performance beats coolers based on the "tower" design.

Origen AE M10 Review
techPowerUp posted a review on the Origen AE M10

Origen AE has taken their legendary construction quality down to a mini ITX platform with their newest HTPC chassis - the M10. It is made of two thick pieces of aluminum and features an external, passive 150W power brick - two aspects you won't get anywhere else. But is this enough to justify the 400 Euro price tag?

Intel 32nm Clarkdale and Arrandale Processor Preview
HotHardware.com posted a preview on the Intel 32nm Clarkdale and Arrandale Processor

Although Intel talked about their upcoming 32nm Westmere-based processors at IDF, and even showed off a few demos of the next-gen core at work right on stage, we still got in some private face-time with a few Intel reps and engineers in a closed door session to glean a few more details.

A couple of the items we saw firsthand were Intel's upcoming Clarkdale (not to be confused with Clarksfield) and Arrandale processors. If you're unfamiliar with Clarkdale and Arrandale, they are upcoming mainstream desktop and mobile processor offerings based on the Nehalem microarchitecture, manufactured on Intel's 32nm process node.

Like other Nehalem derivatives, Clarkdale and Arrandale will feature Intel Turbo Boost and HyperThreading technologies, but they'll also sport on-processor graphics and hardware acceleration for AES (Advanced Encryption Standard)...

Silverstone Raven RV02 Full Tower Case Video Review
Hardware Canucks posted a video review of the new Silverstone Raven RV02 Full Tower case.

With the original Raven, Silverstone brought something new to an otherwise stagnant enclosure market. Their Stack Cooling layout was put to good effect and the case did quite well but many people wanted something with a bit less flamboyant design. Enter the second generation Raven: the RV02.

Corsair P64 SSD RAID Set P64-RAID-PK1 Review
Benchmark Reviews has posted a review on the Corsair P64 SSD RAID Set P64-RAID-PK1

Enthusiasts are no stranger to RAID arrays. While server administrators depend on the redundancy of RAID-1 and other safe multi-drive configurations, performance enthusiasts are willing to risk it all for the promise of twice the normal performance from a striped RAID-0 array. To enjoy the added speed there must be two identical drives to which the data can split and write to each drive in stripes. Solid State Drive products already come at a premium over their hard drive counterparts, and most enthusiasts save up for just one SSD to help launch their computer system into hyper-speed. For the first time, SSDs are available in a twin-pack set, as Benchmark Reviews tests the Corsair P64 RAID PK1 kit. This SSD set includes two Corsair P64 64GB MLC drives, each with the part number CMFSSD-64GBG2D.

CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 Review
OCC has published a review on the CoolerMaster Hyper TX3

The CoolerMaster Hyper TX 3 delivers results that are much better than the stock cooling solution on all counts. The idle temperatures range from 10 degrees Celsius lower on the idle overclocked test to a massive 25 degree Celsius improvement while under load in the overclocked testing. That is a 30% improvement! At the stock clock speeds and voltage the Hyper TX 3 still delivers a 19 degree Celsius improvement over Intel's cooler. The Noctua and Thermalright Coolers are much more capable when the voltages start creeping up but then again the price is quite a bit higher for that cooling performance.

AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5870 vs. HD 4890 GPU Comparison
TweakTown posted a comparison between AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5870 vs. HD 4890 GPU

When we had a look at the Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 we saw how it compared to a number of cards including the older HD 4890 and its main competition, the GTX 285 from NVIDIA. With a reference HD 5870 on our hands we thought that we could take a look at it in a slightly different way.

What we'll do here today is see how the card compares to the HD 4890 and that card only. What we want to find out is the kind of performance improvements the new generation card offers over the previous generation without being distracted by any other models. While the HD 5870 might be replacing the HD 4890 when it comes to the red team’s fastest single GPU card, the older HD 4890 continues to be available with many companies having added their own flair to the model recently.
