Lian Li Tyr PC-X2000 Case Review
TechSpot posted a review on the Lian Li Tyr PC-X2000 case

Every industry has its few elite companies that offer products at a considerable price premium for those that can afford them. In the computer case industry there's only a handful of names that fit this category. Since the early days of case modding and shiny silver brushed aluminum, Lian Li cases have existed.

Most recently Lian Li has unleashed a number of new and exciting looking cases like the Tyr PC-X2000 that we are reviewing today. The Tyr is a full tower gaming/HTPC case that represents one of Lian Li's flagship offerings at the moment. Measuring an impressive 68cm (26in) tall and wrapped in black aluminum, this new case comes at a suggested retail price of $590, that's
right almost $600.

But despite of the hefty price tag, the Lian Li Tyr PC-X2000 remains a stunning looking case that is further enhanced by its unique and innovative design.

Foxconn Digital Life ELA P45 Motherboard Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the Foxconn Digital Life ELA P45 Motherboard

The Foxconn Digital Life ELA isn't an overclocking board but it has an overclocking board price. Priced at $240 on Newegg, this board is competing against boards such as the Gigabyte EP45-DQ6 and Asus P5Q Deluxe, both far superior overclocking boards. If the board were priced around $150 to $170 it would make more sense. Another route would have been to make it an mATX format to cater to the HTPC enthusiast...

Cygnett GrooveJets Earbuds Reviewed
TestFreaks.com posted a review on the Cygnett GrooveJets Earbuds

A couple days ago I took a look at the Cygnett GrooveAtomic Earbuds and I found them to be a good set of headphones for the price, well made and decent sounding. Today I've got another set of earbuds from Cygnett, the GrooveJets, I'll be honest these aren't as good, the sound is about the same, decent but nothing spectacular, but the build quality shocked me considering the GrooveAtomics were made extremely well.

Cooler Master V8 Review
OCC has published a new review on the new Cooler Master V8

After carefully testing the Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler, you can see that it was able to keep about the same temperatures between the overclocked and the stock idle conditions, which let it tie the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme during the stock testing. But, when it was overclocked, it was 2=B0 lower than the Thermalright. Cooler Master has done something right with this cooler, as the temperatures were lower than the previous champion, only by 1=B0, during the overclocked full load testing, but it was 3=B0 higher during the stock full load testing.

J&W X48D2-EXTREME Motherboard Review
TweakTown posted a review on the J&W X48D2-EXTREME Motherboard

Today we have our very first J&W motherboard based around the Intel X48 chipset. No big surprise here on the choice of chipset due to its maturity and presence as an enthusiast oriented piece of kit. But how well does it compare to the likes of the even newer P45 based offerings? Let’s find out.

Todays testing consists of the GIGABYTE EP45 Extreme and the ASUS P5Q motherboards which are based on the P45 chipset. Unfortunately we didn’t have any X48 DDR2 boards on hand to do tests with. However, looking at how well J&W have put this board together, we decided to see just how well the board can go against the new contender chipset, which is where J&W is aiming this board; a cheaper X48 with all the goodies.

Thermaltake Toughpower QFan 650 Watt Power Supply review
TechAddicts posted a review on the Thermaltake Toughpower QFan 650 Watt Power Supply

There is a 140mm fan on the bottom of this power supply. Unique to the QFan series of Toughpower power supplies is the QFan within the power supply. It has an almost frameless design with a special blade design as well. Both of these features are supposed to make this power supply quiet. During testing, at idle loads, this fan is whisper quiet, which is great for a 650 Watt power supply. With loads, the fan slowly sped up to what I would call a medium speed, which was still pretty inaudible.

AMD Phenom X4 9950 BE (Black Edition) tested
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the AMD Phenom X4 9950 BE (Black Edition) processor

A review on the Phenom X4 9950 BE processor. The BE editions in essence are the 'regular' processor, yet they passed quality and analysis for better overclocking performance and have their multiplier unlocked. This obviously is the product we'll be testing today. We'll conduct our test in two ways though, first off we'll check baseline performance just like the regular Phenom X4 9950 and then start an overclocking session. Throughout our benchmarks we'll show you the results on both that baseline and overclocked performance with all benchmarks.

This is AMDs is the cream of the crop processor of the quad-core product line, it runs at 2600 MHz on all four cores with a multiplier of 13. But really, it doesn't mind clocks over 3000 MHz either. And that's what we'll show you in today's article.

CoolerMaster V8 CPU Cooler Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the CoolerMaster V8 CPU Cooler.

In today's world, as CPU's get bigger and faster, we are finding out that not only do we want to have the fastest CPU available, but we are also wanting to gain that extra little kick by overclocking our CPU's. We also want to use an inexpensive cooling solution that will not only run quiet, but also keep our CPU's running cool without having to spend an enormous amount of money or having to spend a lot of time on setting up watercooling or phase change units. Which really leaves us only one choice left, aircooling. Aircooling is normally inexpensive and requires no real technological knowledge to set it up, while at the same time requiring the least amount of time for setting it up. Well, we may have a good canidate for that task. Today we will be looking at a new CPU cooler from Cooler Master, the V8.
