Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and Premiere Elements 4 Bundle
TrustedReviews have looked at the Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and Premiere Elements 4 Bundle.

Although you can buy both of these applications separately, the savings of buying the two together have meant that Adobe traditionally sells many more of the bundle than either one on its own. Of the two, Photoshop Elements has more new and enhanced features, although both are even easier for the newcomer to get to grips with than their predecessors. Neither app feels like a huge update compared to the last versions, but we still expect Adobe to sell heaps of copies of this bundle. If you don't have decent photo or video editing software, or you have an Elements bundle a few versions old, there is plenty here to tempt you.

Apple iPod touch 16GB Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the Apple iPod touch 16GB

Of course you can dismiss the touch as an over-priced gimmick - and many people will, justifiably. Its sound quality isn't the greatest in the world and just 16GB of storage space in a device costing £265 will be more than many technological spendthrifts can stomach.

But that would be ignoring the sheer software and hardware engineering genius that's gone into making this product viable - and the pleasure you'll derive from using it. Put simply, if you want to experience the cutting edge in interface design, this is the best way of doing it without saddling yourself with a £35 per month phone bill. Apple has done it again. Bravo.

OCZ Silencer 750 Watt Quad rail PSU - Crossfire edition review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the OCZ Silencer 750 Quad Crossfire edition PSU

OCZ bought PC Power & Cooling, for the time being OCZ will sell the PC Power & Cooling as is. It's now their high-end segment of power supplies which is interesting as I always figured their now mid-range line to be pretty snazzy as well.

With this small introduction on OCZ's, PC Power & Cooling product line we land at the Silencer PSU rated 750 Watts. The product as shown today is available in two SKU versions, one SLI and one Crossfire. The SLI version is colored dark black, the Crossfire version in demonic red. The difference between the two ? .. none except the color.

MSI NX8600GT Twin Turbo Review
NVNews posted MSI NX8600GT Twin Turbo Review

Overall, the NX8600GT Twin Turbo is an excellent GeForce 8 Series solution for those on a budget. It's a nice step up from a GeForce 7600 GT and will cost around $120-$150 retail, although no official retail price has been set at this time. It is a dual-slot design with a nice cooling solution and a very unique "Twin Turbo" feature that gives that little extra boost in frame rates. The extra BIOS can even be used as a backup should a bad flash corrupt the BIOS in use.

PNY 8800 Ultra Review
XSReviews has reviewed the PNY 8800 Ultra

There are some advantages to being a reviewer. One of these is getting to review the fastest graphics cards the world has to offer and in the last couple of weeks I've been lucky enough to have a look at two. The second card is this one, an 8800 Ultra from PNY. Is the performance worth the monster price tag? Let's see.

DX10 Gaming Performance Review - Catalyst 7.10
PC Perspective updated their DX10 Gaming Performance review

Seriously though, after the publication of our review, AMD contacted me about an updated Catalyst driver, version 7.10, that I was told would dramatically change the results of our testing. So, after receiving an early copy of the 7.10 "Shoot-em-up" driver as it somehow seems to have been named, I set out to spend my weekend doing some MORE graphics testing.

OCZ ATV Turbo Flash Drive Review
3D Game Man posted a review on the OCZ ATV Turbo Flash Drive

The OCZ ATV Turbo Flash Drive comes with ReadyBoost technology which is great for those who have little system memory. Many USB2 drives still do not incorporate dual channel technology, but this one does. This results in a substantial performance increase over non-dual channel flash drives. It even has a thick waterproof rubber casing which makes it virtually
indestructible. While this product almost perfect, it doesn't come.

Viper Lair posted a review on the Mushkin HP2-6400 4GB Memory Kit

The Mushkin HP2-6400 kit performed very well in our tests today and for the most part, performed a little better than the Corsair 6400Pro which did suffer from a 2GB capacity disadvantage. While the difference in performance between 2GB and 4GB isn't terribly large in day-to-day applications, if you're in a specialized environment, the extra ram will play dividends. This is very clear in our Photoshop and DVD tests.

Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Pro series Review
OCC has published a new review of the Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Pro series

I went to the Fatal1ty website and noticed its advert for Bioshock, which intrigued me. So for this test, I used Bioshock and GRAW 2. Bioshock is a creepy game to begin with, so adding this sound card didn't turn this into a fluffy-bunny game for me at all. When entering a room, you hear the various voices of the little sisters all around you. If the movie Children of the Corn has taught you anything, then you know demonic kids are creepy as hell. The Fatal1ty card plunges you right into the game. Each fire crackle and scraping step can be heard as clear as if it was in the room with you. When I switched over to GRAW 2, I noticed the 3D sound much more. Each step and every shot echoed perfectly. Everything was as crisp and as clear as if I was actually standing there being shot at. I could tell where every shot was coming from, having the competitive edge is what these gamer cards were designed for. I was surprised much less often then I was with the on-board sound.

There was no large launch event; no rash of rumors anticipated its arrival. The HD 2900 Pro's release wasn't preceded by press-release, fanfare, or parade. The card just sort of happened. You might have heard about it on the net, but if you weren't paying attention the card may have just slipped under the radar. Come and gone before anyone was the wiser.

Super Talent VIDEGO24 MP3 Player Review
Futurelooks checks out a new MP3 player

It seems like the hottest trend among portable electronics these days is to get rid of physical buttons and replace them with touch sensitive controls. The Apple iPod may have that popular click wheel, but Super Talent is taking the touch sensitive route with their latest offering, the Super Talent VIDEGO24. It’s got a fairly large 2.4-inch color screen, 1GB of internal memory, and a microSD expansion slot for more storage. The features sound reasonable, but there are more than a couple of issues with the user interface and physical design.

Razer Mantis Control & Mantis Speed Mousepads Review
Tweaknews.net posted Razer Mantis Control & Mantis Speed Mousepads Review

Razer has delivered a mouse pad that does exactly what it's supposed to do – improve the PC gaming experience. I have been loyal to hard surface mouse pads for some time, but the Razer Mantis has changed all that. Mention gaming mice to anyone unfamiliar with the concept, and you might get some strange looks: why would anyone want to pay more money for a mouse, when the original does just as well? However, as any gamer who regularly plays first person shooters will tell you, gaming mice bring two advantages to the table: more sensitive optical sensors, and more buttons, both designed to help you dominate your gaming opponents. Today, in the
first of a series of three reviews, I'll be looking at one of the world's premiere gaming mice, Microsoft SideWinder, to see how well it brings those two gaming mouse advantages to the table.

OCZ Vendeta heatpipe CPU Cooler Review
XtremeComputing posted OCZ Vendeta heatpipe CPU Cooler Review

In case you haven’t noticed, something sets this cooler apart from practically every other cooler on the market today. This should lead to very efficient cooling as it has removed the need for a solid copper base as a transition layer between the heatpipes and the CPU.

Half-Life 2: Episode Two Review
Bit-Tech published a review of Half-Life 2: Episode Two

Perhaps the greatest accolade to lay on //Episode Two at this point is for me to again acknowledge that I was wrong to bitch about the delays in the episodes. //Episode Two was worth the wait, worth every second of it.

With a compelling story which is excellently told, a fantastic and proven gameplay mechanic and an utterly enthralling way of communicating with the player via digital actors like Alyx, //Episode Two is one of my favourite games ever. That's not an expression I come to lightly.

You have to go play it and you have to go play it soon, but take my advice and make sure that you play it in as few separate sittings as possible. This isn't the type of game you should dip in and out of for five minutes at a time, though you easily could. This is the type of game you should spend some serious time on, exploring the world that Valve has delicately crafted for you.

If ever there was a good reason for you to neglect your real life and play a computer game for hours on end then //Episode Two is it.

Hard disc coolers are often the least important part of your gaming rig, and perhaps with good reason. While backing up is a wise plan it too is often disregarded, resulting in lost game saves or worse...

Titan TTC-G5T Notebook Cooling Pad Speakers Review
Virtual-Hideout posted Titan TTC-G5T Notebook Cooling Pad Speakers Review

I had high expectations of Titan, especially after the previous G4T turned out to be a decent notebook cooler supporting a wide range of laptops. However, the G5T is less of a notebook cooler, and more just a pair of budget USB speakers. Trying to label this as a notebook cooler seems a bit weird, as it doesn't provide any airflow of its own. Even as a pair of USB speakers, it doesn't provide too much incentive for the end-user.

Maximo iMetal iM-390 Earphones Review
APH Networks has published a new review on the Maximo iMetal iM-390 Earphones

With the popularity of digital audio players in today's society, I've always wondered this: Why would the consumers, the people who can afford such products exceeding $300 use personal audio output devices such as earphones that are worth roughly 1% of that $300 they've spent? Of course, casual listeners would have a hard time justifying a budget of over $100 for a pair of earbuds, while audiophiles may say otherwise. Maximo Products, a relatively new and unknown player in this market so far, hopes to meet the consumer half way -- they provide such a product that claims offer to a package to compete with entry level to midrange boutique brand products from companies such as Shure and V-MODA, yet at less than half the MSRP. How competitive are the Maximo iMetal iM-390s, and are they the ones that you would want to dump some cash on to accompany your digital audio player? We'll find out for you in our review today.
