EVGA e-GeForce 7600GTS Video Card Review
Motherboard.org posted a review on the EVGA e-GeForce 7600GTS Video Card

For a street price of $116 after mail-in rebate, the 7600GTS is a good alternative to the 7600GT, as its performance is very nearly the same, but the price is lower. After consultation with EVGA, they say the 7600GTS is a cross between the 7600GS and a 7600GT (GDDR3 memory). All in all a good entry level gaming card that won't break the bank.

Inno3D GeForce 7900GS SLI Review
PC Modding Malaysia posted an Inno3D GeForce 7900GS SLI review

The card ran reasonably cool and much of it contributed to the massive overclock achieved with the stock cooling. With almost 50% overall overclock right out of the box, the Inno3D 7900GS is surely not a slacker. You will want to overclock it especially when you understand that it uses 1.4ns Hynix memory ICs. Overclocking was fun and easy with this one but we frankly jumped when it outperformed the 7950GX2 beast. In all of our benchmarks, the overclocked Inno3D 7950GX2 was easily faster than the rich man's 7950GX2. If you want to taste some 7950GX2, then get a pair of these Inno3D 7900GS babies, overclock them and you are good to go. By the way, you can always smile at your 7950GX2 buddies and tell them that you've got the same performance for about 100 bucks less!

Will quad core processors usher in a new era of computing? Not really, as without optimized code they're useless for the time being, much like 64-bit support.

Lite-On SHW160P6 Review
TechUprising.com has posted a review on the Lite-On SHW106P6 DVD-RW drive

With newer formats such as Blu-ray now available, the cost of a good DVD burner is at an all time low. This is good news since 99% of the users out there aren’t read to sink $900 into Blu-ray or HD-DVD at the moment. This is especially true when a nice unit like Lite-On’s SHW160P6S05 dual layer DVD burner can now be had for around $30.

Not familiar with Lite-On? The company started in 1995 and they were pushing out a million units a month by 1999. A lot of their production is OEM and ODM. That is, they make the drives that come in many store bought PCs or they actually design and make drives and other companies put their own names on them. In April of 2006 Lite-On bought BenQ's optical drive business, making them the second largest optical drive company world wide.

Connect3D X1900GT & Foxconn 7900GS Review
Driverheaven posted a review on the Connect3D X1900GT & Foxconn 7900GS video cards

SLI and Crossfire powered gaming systems are something most of us can only dream about. The same thing is true for cards like the dual-GPU GeForce 7950GX2. The majority of us have to look at single-card solutions, and even then the pricier models can be rather expensive. For that reason both ATI and nVidia offer several cards that can still be considered high-end, but with their price being set at a far more reasonable level. Today we look at offerings from both ATI and nVidia, namely the Radeon X1900GT HDCP by Connect3D and the GeForce 7900GS by Foxconn. To spice things up we will compare the results from both cards with a representative of the last generation of nVidias 7x00 series – the 7800GT. The card is getting rather difficult to buy, since it is no longer being manufactured, but its price is similar to that of both the other cards. Cards in this price range are likely to be partnered with a midrange TFT screen running at around 1280x1024, so we will be running tests at this resolution with as much eye candy enabled as possible.

With todays more demanding computers manufacturers have to figure out how to make more and more powerful powersupplies. On top of that they have to perform extremely well with stable rails and also be extremely quiet for the consumer to be happy with them, this really proves to be a challenge to the manufacturers as the PSU usually tends to lack in on thing. Intel in grave trouble, say unreliable sources
HEXUS has posted an article on Intel and AMD

Before I step into that alternate reality and somebody closes the door behind me, allow me to get something off my chest. If there's one thing about the Internet that I hate, it's weblogs. Particularly, two types of weblog. There's the weblog of the angst-ridden teen; I don't think I need to explain why they're a PITA. Then, there's the weblog of the person who seems to think that what they write is the gospel truth. Such people write their opinions as though they are fact. Not a good thing, especially when people start believing it.
