Saitek Cyborg Gamepad Review
OCC has published a new review of the Saitek Cyborg Gamepad

Unique to the Cyborg Rumble is the FPS (First Person Shooter) button located in the center of the controller. When pressed, a preset layout mapped to most newly released FPS games is enabled. This removes the need to configure a layout and saves lots of time and energy. On the bottom of the controller is where the release button for the left controls is located. Simply press and the controls will pull out from the gamepad.

ATP ToughDrive Mini 2GB Review
XSReviews has reviewed the ATP ToughDrive Mini 2GB

Looking for a new flash drive? How about one used by the military? Well, ATP have created the ToughDrive Mini which packs a whole lot into a small size; waterproof, temperature proof, 30mb/s transfer speed and ReadyBoost enabled.

Hopefully the transfer speed will live up to the advertised rate, as this could be one of the fastest drives we've tested.

Samsung BD-P1200 Blu-ray Disc Player Review
ThinkComputers.org posted Samsung BD-P1200 Blu-ray Disc Player Review

One of the bigger buzzwords going around these days is HDTV. Everyone seems to want high-def this and high-def that. Just as we encountered with VHS and Betamax, we are once again amidst a format war of sorts. On one side of the arena is HD DVD, backed by companies like Microsoft. On the other side is Blu-ray, supported by guys like Samsung. Samsung already has a big family of flat panel HDTVs, so they want to provide you with some HD content as well. The Samsung BD-P1200 is actually the company's second generation Blu-ray player and while it looks awfully pretty from the outside (much like Samsung's LCDs), there were several issues with the performance that need to be improved.

ECS GeForce 8600 GT - Factory Overclocking and Passive Cooling
Digit-Life posted a review on the ECS GeForce 8600 GT

This article is quite brief. It is, so to speak, a mini-review of a rather peculiar graphics card. It draws attention, because despite being marked '8600 GT' it operates at increased frequencies. Mind you, its shader unit works at a whopping 1566 MHz! And as you know, an overclocked 8600 GTS card has shader unit working at up to 1440 MHz. This fact alone makes this graphics card very attractive. In addition, it has a noiseless passive cooling system, which is another peculiar feature.

Logitech G9 Laser Gaming Mouse Review
ASE Labs posted a review on the Logitech G9 Laser Gaming Mouse

Since Logitech never stands idle in the fast paced computer peripheral market, they have redesigned their gaming edition of mice. The G9 is a definite step in a different direction compared to the previous top of the line model, the G7. It is now a corded mouse and incorporates features that are present on the MX Revolution and from the G5. While the cord can be a burden, the entire mouse is a great evolutionary step.

ASUS Xonar D2 Ultra Fidelity 7.1 PCI Sound Card Review
HotHardware.com posted a review on the ASUS Xonar D2 Ultra Fidelity 7.1 PCI Sound Card

Asus makes bold claims about their new Xonar sound card being the
"best" PC audio card on the market currently. We took the product to task in an effort to prove out these claims. At the very least perhaps a company,
with the Hardware and Software Engineering resources that Asus has, can
deliver reasonable audio fidelity and hopefully a better set of drivers than the likes of Creative's X-Fi debacle.

OCZ ATV Turbo 4GB Review
XSReviews has reviewed the OCZ ATV Turbo 4GB

USB flash memory has recently been tumbling down in price, and now you can carry around all of your important files for less than £20.

That said, most budget drives hide a substantial issue; speed. If you are routinely copying large files, a slow transfer rate can mean the difference between going to the pub and staying at the office for an extra 5 minutes. A serious problem indeed.

Due to the drop in price, faster drives are also available for more accessible prices featuring larger sizes too. Today I have the OCZ ATV Turbo 4GB USB drive that should be able to store your stuff and make transferring a quick job.

Mushkin HP3-10666 2GB DDR3-1333 Memory Kit Review
PC Stats posted a review on the Mushkin HP3-10666 2GB DDR3-1333 Memory Kit

The Mushkin memory that's up for testing today is its 2GB HP3-10666 (DDR3-1333) memory kit. By default the memory is rated to run at 1333 MHz with low CAS latency timings of 6-7-6-18, on a voltage of 1.7-1.8V. Much of the DDR3 memory on the market has a CAS Latency of 7 or 8, so Mushkin's memory here will perform faster clock for clock compared to the competition!

D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router Review
Futurelooks posted D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router Review

D-Link’s DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router gives us plenty of bandwidth with a built in four port Gigabit switch on the wired side and Draft N wireless capability up to 300 Mbps. They say this is 14x faster than 802.11 G, but by my math, it should only be 5.5x faster (300 / 54…anyways). It also boasts improved range, up to 6X more range, than regular D-Link 802.11g routers. Getting this range requires the use of one of their Xtreme N wireless adapters, so no Xtreme N on both ends, no Xtreme N range.

Bit-Tech have published a hands-on preview of Unreal Tournament 3

In terms of gameplay, the game is fantastic. Smooth, fluid and involving, the game is accessible to new players and won't overly put unfamiliar players at a disadvantage. At the same time, it encourages
players to experiment and try and learn more from the game, rapidly
gaining skill.

Graphically the game is a marvel too; environments appear both lush and detailed without interfering or distracting from the match at hand. It's the kind of thing which shows that the game has been playtested to death.

However, there are a few things which could be a problem -- mainly the lack of change. Sure, the graphics are enhanced and there are new levels, but a lot of that could have been accomplished in a smaller update. The Necris vehicles could help address our fears, but we can't really comment since we didn't get to see much of them.

Basically, it's the same old / /Unreal Tournament, but with a facelift and boob-job which is well simulated in terms of bounce. Yeah, I liked that analogy too.

If you liked the past games then you'll love / /UT3 and if you haven't played the past games then you'll probably still love it. If you're one of those in-between players though who's looking for something a little different or new, or with more of a focus on teamplay, then you may be better off waiting a while before you buy.

Logitech G15 Revision 2 Review
Techgage published a review of Logitech's updated G15 keyboard.

Logitech released a revised G5 mouse earlier this year, and now have given attention to their most popular gaming keyboard, the G15. Updates were made for the sake of size, so a few features have been modified to reflect that. In the end though, it still proves to be an exceptional offering.
