The software goes on your phone, be it Android, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry or even Symbian. I’ve installed it on both my Android phone and my tablet for testing. The Mugen 3 PC Games Hardware Edition CPU Cooler is a new take on Scythe's top of the line cooler. The Scythe Mugen 3 PCGH Edition replaces the single variable speed fan with two 120mm Slip Stream fans running at 800rpm capable of 40.17cfm each, in a push/pull configuration. The Mugen 3's design is a natural for dual fans, as it features a "Multiple Airflow Pass-Through Structure" with channels creating far less resistance for air between the two fans. This multiple tower design also greatly improves efficiency, allowing for lower rpm fans to provide better than expected cooling and, just as importantly, quiet cooling. The Mugen 3 features aluminum fins with six copper heat pipes capped off with polished aluminum ornamental nuts. This presents the Mugen 3 with a very hi-tech, industrial look. The base plate is nickel plated copper and is polished to a mirror finish, with only the slightest hint of milling marks.

A lot of talk has been about solid state drives lately and rightly so as they are one of the most beneficial components into a system that money can buy. By the addition of a SSD, a system can be boosted but it comes at a cost and sadly doesn't offer much in terms of price per Gigabyte.

What a lot of users are tending to go for these days is a smaller size solid state drive to simply run their operating system whilst their games and storage is moved over to a large mechanical style drive and with more companies than ever before offering drives with higher capacities per platter, it's an easy decision to make if needing a lot of storage.

Casting your mind back to this time last year, the 750GB per platter boundary was broken and were quickly implemented into drives and sold by the truck load but ended up being quite costly, used a lot of power and in turn generated a mass amount of heat. This clearly wasn't a viable option, though the likes of Seagate and other well-known brands continued to sell these drives in succession, whilst the likes of Western Digital sat back to admire what was about to come.

Moving forward ever so slightly and Western Digital brought their 3TB Caviar Green drive to market which only uses four platters, opposed to five which means less heat, less power and also brings the price down for the consumers which is a typical win, win, win situation for everyone involved and will also give that slight edge to them over the competition.

Today we're taking a look at that very drive to see if performance is hindered in any way or whether this drive really can do it all whilst offering a huge capacity for space at the same time.

The Intel Core i7-2700K is clocked at 3.5 GHz, which is 100 MHz faster than the previous flagship model for socket 1155, the Core i7-2600K. Like the 2600K, the 2700K has a 95W TDP, an unlocked clock multiplier, 8 MB L3 cache, 4 CPU cores, and can execute up to 8 threads at once. If you have figured out that this processor launch is nothing more than a speed bump, then pat yourself on the back as that is what it is. There are no new architecture differences here, so the only 'new' thing with this processor is a higher multiplier. With the 100Mhz increase we can expect to see right around a 3% performance increase over the 2600K...
