AZZA Hurrican 2000 Review
techPowerUp posted a review on the AZZA Hurrican 2000 case

AZZA has a very interesting line-up of cases so far and the Hurrican 2000 is their most sophisticated one yet. It features a menacing look, is filled to the rim with 8 fans (yes 8!) and hot-swap bays for each of the removable hard drive trays. We fill the case with everything - even water cooling and let loose the hurricane.

Enhance your browsing experience using bookmarklets
TechSpot takes a look at boxkmarklets

One of the reasons behind Firefox's sustained popularity is the availability of a vast library of extensions. But expanding functionality through these add-ons can have some downsides of their own. For example, most of them are not cross-platform, so if you decide to try another browser your favorite extensions might not be available.

Enter ‘bookmarklets’ -- small applets stored as an URL that are designed to add 1-click functionality to a browser or web page. They are JavaScript-enabled links you can pull into your bookmarks to interact with whatever page you find yourself on. Granted, they might not offer the level of functionality some of the more advanced browser extensions do, but they certainly come in handy and can sometimes be as simple as a single line of code.

From a simple “mail page to” script to a spelling checker to an HTML debugger, all you need to do to enable them is drag a link to your favorites – typically you bookmarks toolbar – and that’s that.

Corsair Force 40GB Boot Drive SSD Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the Corsair Force 40GB Boot Drive SSD

We've seen several different capacities of Corsair's Force SSD drives on our test benches this year and we've been impressed with their performance. Corsair is now offering a 40GB version which will primarily fit the demographic for users who want a boot drive with the speed of an enthusiast level SSD but without the price tag of the higher capacity drives. Will it knock the popular Intel 40GB off of boot drive hill?

The Corsair Force 40GB SSD may be the baby in the Force Series family but that doesn't stop it from putting up numbers to rival that of its older siblings in most of our tests. If you are considering entering the world of SSDs but don't want to drop serious coin, this may be one of the best places to start. As far as other options go, the closest competitor is probably the Intel X25-V 40GB drive which can be found for roughly the same price but frankly, that drive is aging fast and overall does not offer the same performance as you will get from the Force 40GB drive. The 40GB Force drive performs superbly, albeit slightly behind its larger siblings. This can mostly be attributed to the lower density NAND but it still offers the fabulous SF-1200 controller with its support of TRIM and its proprietary DuraClass technology...

Seagate GoFlex 1.5TB USB 3.0 Portable Drive Review
Everything USB posted a review on the Seagate GoFlex 1.5TB USB 3.0 Portable Drive

In the recent past I took a look at the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Portable 500GB and walked away impressed. It had a decent power curve, with a killer feature: an upgradeable interface; but did have a few minor issues. It is for this reason when Seagate asked Everything USB to review their latest USB 3.0 iteration, the FreeAgent GoFlex Portable 1.5TB, that I said yes. Has Seagate worked out the couple minor bugs that kept the FreeAgent GoFlex Portable line from being perfect? Read on my full review to find out.

The Verdict:
Increased platter density coupled with the upgrades to the GoFlex cabling does make the 1.5TB GoFlex Portable even better than the earlier version I looked at. If you are in the market for a massive, yet extremely reasonably priced, portable unit this beast HAS to be on your short list.

The Good:
+ Quick and easy upgradeability
+ Portable yet stable design
+ Included software based encryption
+ Software is preloaded on the drive
+ Seamless automatic data backup options
+ GoFlex adapters can be used on any SATA drive
+ Free movie is nice bonus feature that encourages registration (to get unlock code)
+ Uses a detachable and easily replaced USB 3.0 cable
+ GoFlex USB 3.0 cable is no longer a proprietary design

The Bad:
- No active cooling
- Still only a 2 year warranty on a hard drive that usually has three
- Sealed unit so hard drive replacement will be difficult
- No power On/Off switch for drive

MSI N460GTX Cyclone 768D5 OC Edition and ZOTAC AMP! Edition 1GB GeForce GTX 460 Reviewed
Futurelooks reviews two very competitive GTX 460s out on the market today

As we’ve said in a previous article, nVidia’s GeForce GTX 460 GPU has really reignited the battle in the $200 US price range for a capable graphics card that can actually play your games. AMD has recently responded with their HD 6xxx series which starts at $179 US and is aimed squarely at nVidia’s $200 price point darling. And then another salvo gets fired by nVidia who promptly responded with a set of price drops that brought the price of the GTX 460 1GB to $199 from $229 US and the GTX 460 768MB from $199 to $169 US. That means that come this holiday season, the choices are going to get harder for the mainstream or budget gamer.

Most people use a computer for just about everything; to do their jobs, for entertainment, and even to run their lives. Laptop comptuers are more popular because they fit hand-in-hand with people on the go. One of the travesties I've seen is how many people buy a really nice notebook, but either don't have a laptop bag or just shove in in a cheap one that doesn't protect it.

A good quality laptop case should last through several laptop upgrades, and should be large enough to accomodate the size of your computer plus all of its accessories. One of the newest bag manufacturers on the scene is Slappa gear, who have been making quality gear to protect today's electronics. Today we are reviewing the Slappa Ballistix P-Tac Pro Shoulder bag, which is not only ideal for notebooks, but for gamers, DJs, or just about anyone who has electrics carry.

Tuniq TX-4 Thermal Grease Review
OCC has published a review on the Tuniq TX-4 Thermal Grease

While applying the paste, I encountered two annoyances. The first being the hard-plastic TIM spreader included with the TX-4; being hard plastic, it doesn't flex with the slightest of pressure and thus will often scrape the grease instead of spreading it. The second annoyance was the viscosity of the paste; being so thick, it was extremely hard to apply evenly (especially with the shortcomings of the TIM spreader).

Official 3D Vision support for StarCraft II came with the 1.1.0 patch. This update includes numerous bug fixes to the 3D Vision game play as well as a stereoscopic 3D panel in the StarCraft II options menu (F10). Even before the official patch went live (and even when StarCraft II was still in the beta testing stages), stereoscopic 3D support using Nvidia 3D Vision was already surprisingly functional despite the absence of any 3D Vision profiles. With the 1.1.0 patch, the 3D Vision rating is upgraded from "unrated" to "good", improving 3D game play elements like 3D rendered cursors and health bars and fixed 3D portraits.
