SIM2 Domino D10 Projector Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the SIM2 Domino D10 Projector.

It's certainly top-notch stuff for a DarkChip2 projector, but despite the D10 doing a really SIM2-like job of getting the best from the technology available to it, and is cheap by SIM2's standards, it's still not quite cheap enough to see off all of its potential rivals.

DragonSteelMods.com posted a review on the 3M Vikuiti Privacy Filter PF14.1 for 14.1" Notebook and LCD Displays

Normally what I'm doing isn't some state secret or something confidential, but what if you are doing something like that? Then you really don't want people to see what you're doing do you? If you're in an airport or coffee shop with lots of people, it's very easy for people to see what you're doing if they really want to. 3M has come out with a Privacy Filter called the Vikuiti for just such occasions, it can be used on your laptop or on a standard LCD or CRT display. It's very easy to install, lightweight and it works very well...

Asus C90S upgradable laptop review
Neoseeker published a review of the Asus C90S laptop.

The Asus C90S laptop is a distinctive new breed of portable computing with its user upgradeable hardware. Of course there are those laptop components that are simple enough for the end user to swap out themselves; hard drive, optical drive and memory. Typically though, the processor and graphics card are static, soldered into place for the life of that system. The Asus C90S however allows the end user to easily upgrade both the desktop processor and graphics card within.

VIZO Master Panel II Review
Virtual-Hideout posted a review on the VIZO Master Panel II

Let's face it - people hate connecting things to the back of their computer, especially if it's only for temporary use. Having to poke around the back of your case (where there is already a jumble of cables) just to connect a camera to download photos off of it is a pain. Thankfully, most cases nowadays come with front USB ports. But what about other connectors and outputs? There have been many products providing a solution to this problem. Most of them fit in a 5.25" drive bay and basically re-route or provide front connections for, among other things, USB ports. This can be helpful if your case didn't come with front access for these connections. While most of them are fairly basic, the VIZO Master Panel II takes an "everything but the kitchen sink" approach by providing a plethora of I/O options as well as some other nice features. Today, we'll take a look to see if the Master Panel II stands out from among the rest.

NZXT Alpha Case Review
techPowerUp posted a review on the NZXT Alpha Case

The Alpha is NZXT's latest entry level case offering. While it does not cost a lot, it has enough space for an 8800 GTX or Ultra. This means that you can save a bit of money on the chassis and spend it on actual hardware, without having to worry about compatibility issues.

A-Data Vitesta DDR2-800 Extreme Edition Memory Review
OCModShop posted A-Data Vitesta Extreme Edition DDR2-800 Memory Review

RAM has also been getting cheaper over the years (especially if you factor in price vs. performance), but we still want to get the most performance out of our memory as possible. You can purchase a "budget" set of RAM, but you are almost guaranteed to have no overclocking headroom. Better (and generally more expensive) memory runs at faster timings (4-4-4-12 instead of the standard-5-5-5-15).

A-Data has released their Vitesta PC2-8000 RAM, which is technically a DDR-800 set, but with a guaranteed overclock to DDR-1000 Speeds. This overclock translates into a 25% performance increase (8GB / second vs DDR2-800's 6.4GB /second). This also means that you can re-use this memory when you upgrade your motherboard to one that supports a fast 1GHz bus.

ASUS BC-1205PT Blu-Ray drive review
Elite Bastards take a look at ASUS' BC-1205PT Serial ATA BD-ROM/DVD-RW/CD-RW combo drive.

The side of the packaging gives us a more in-depth guide to this drives read and write speeds - The highlight of the bunch is, of course, BD-ROM support, with 5x reading capabilities claimed here. DVD-ROM reading can be performed at up to 12x, with CD-ROM support coming in at 32x.

As far as disc writing is concerned, DVD+/-R is supported at up to 12x, DVD+/-RW up to 6x, dual-layer DVD+/-R at 4x, with DVD-RAM also supported at up to 5x (all dependant on discs capable of utilising those speeds of course). Finally, CD-R and CD-RW writing is available at up to 24x. Of course, we'll be testing all of this in due course to see just how well this drive performs.
