Corsair 500R Mid-Tower Case Review
OCC has published a review on the Corsair 500R Mid-Tower Case

This case surprised me a little bit. Cooling-wise it was decent all around. The fan on the side really kept temperatures down on both the chipset and GPU while under load. It competed fairly with the other cases, being only a degree or two above the lowest of lows. Its overall performance is rather impressive, well worth the few hassles of getting your hardware mounted. While the temperatures may not have been jaw-dropping amazing, the low values provide good value to this case.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Performance Test
Techspot posted Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Performance Test

Based on early estimates, Skyrim has shipped seven million copies worldwide across all platforms, including digital stores such as Steam. During a peak hour last Monday, Valve's platform alone recorded some 287,000 Skyrim players -- greater than the combined peak activity of MW3, Counter-Strike, Football Manger 2012 and Team Fortress 2.

We usually don't open our performance reviews with sales figures, but we felt compelled to illustrate the magnitude of Skyrim's launch because role-playing games rarely garner this type of attention. Although its popularity is undoubtedly aided by the cult-like status of the Elder Scrolls franchise, Skyrim isn't just a clone of its predecessors (we're looking at you MW3). Bethesda has made many gameplay refinements, especially to the graphics and animations -- our area of interest.

Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS Dragon Battle Bag & Conkor Mouse Pad Review
TweakTown posted Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS Dragon Battle Bag & Conkor Mouse Pad Review

I received a box of goodies from Tt eSPORTS at the beginning of this month. The box was absolutely huge and I was thinking, "what in the hell is in this box? It can't be a mouse or a keyboard". As I opened the box I revealed what looked like a duffel bag. But it is much more than that; much, much more.

Enter the Tt eSPORTS Battle Dragon Bag. The bag looks quite the LAN buddy from the outside, but once you start exploring it inside of the bag, you really see just how much work Tt have put into this bag. Upon opening the bag, you start realizing that this bag is quite special. The bag itself is Tt's signature black and red scheme, which looks undeniably hot.

Cities XL 2012 (PC) Review
Techgage posted a review on Cities XL 2012 (PC)

It's almost ironic that it would take the desire to create an MMO for the last survivor of the city-builder genre to come to life. The latest incarnation of that survivor is Cities XL 2012. It's not an MMO, but rather a traditional city-builder sim that tries to cater to old-school SimCity fans. Does this game do enough to fill that void?

POSRUS Antiglare Antifingerprint Screen Protector for Le Pan TC 970 Review
Review the Tech posted POSRUS Antiglare Antifingerprint Screen Protector for Le Pan TC 970 Review

Today for review I’ve got a must-have accessory if you own the Le Pan TC970 Android tablet, it’s a screen protector but much more. The Le Pan is a great tablet, but the screen is very glossy so that it reflects light and really attracts fingerprints. I’m the type of person who must have a screen protector on all of my gadgets, just because I feel safer that way and it’s better to be safe than sorry. The product I have for review today I got from Amazon inexpensively, and it’s aptly named the Antiglare Antifingerprint Screen Protector for Le Pan TC 970, it’s from a company called POSRUS. So read on…

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Xbox 360 Review
Tweaktown posted Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Xbox 360 Review

Ten years it's been since the introduction of the Xbox gaming system. Microsoft took a huge risk to take on the (at the time) formidable Sony and its PlayStation with a system that really launched with a load of very bad games, and one very, very good one. To say that Halo made the Xbox launch is an understatement. Without it, the system could have been in serious trouble very early, but Bungie managed to do what seemed at the time as impossible - a strong console first person shooter.

Halo's influence on the industry is significant. It proved that First Person Shooters could work on a console and work well. So ten years later we get this homage. A remake of the game with the same physics, but with HD graphics. And you know what? The game is just as good as it was a decade ago and that is quite a triumph.

Corsair Hydro H100 CPU Cooler Review
Madshrimps posted Corsair Hydro H100 CPU Cooler Review

One of the main remarks we had when testing all the different all in one cooling solutions was the size of the radiator, which limited the heat dissipation. Secondly the modern units generate a fair amount of noise, if it's user opted for maximum cooling capacity. A bigger radiator increases the cooling surface, thus logically should aid in lowering the processor temps. Another big plus is that it allows for more fans to be used, which can spin slower and yet have the same or better cooling capacity then it's single or dual 120mm fan solutions. A while ago Corsair bundled forces with CoolIT, to manufacture it's latest generation of Hydro coolers. And the feedback from it's numerous users resulted finally in a 240mm rad version baptized the Hydro 100.
