Nanoxia Silent Case Fans Review
Tweaknews.net posted Nanoxia Silent Case Fans Review

All in all, despite the one DOA fan these fans performed very well. The noise levels were decent and the fan controllers provided with each unit was a nice touch. I have had four of these fans running in my main PC for almost a month now and I honestly couldn't be happier with a fan.

E-TEN Glofiish M800 Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the E-TEN Glofiish M800

Although things start out well for the M800, the more practical aspects of the phone's design brings it down to earth with a solid, uncomfortable bump. It may have the better screen, excellent call quality, a faster processor and nice design, but the controls are awful and the keyboard isn't good enough to make up for these faults.

Hiper HPU-4M630 Power Supply Review
HardwareLogic posted a review on the Hiper HPU-4M630 Power Supply

High Performance Group (Hiper) has become known to modders through their feature (and bling) packed "Type-R" power supply line, but as we've preached to a cousin of ours, flashy rims alone won't make a '72 Beetle run faster (or in his case, run at all). Today we have one of Hiper's less flashy "Type M" PSUs on the testing deck and we figured it's time to see if there is more to a Hiper PSU than just bling.

Silverstone Kublai Series KL01 Case Review
ThinkComputers.org posted Silverstone Kublai Series KL01 Case Review

Out of all of the cases I've had, I don't have to stop and think which one was my favorite. Hands down, the case I liked the most was a Silverstone Temjin TJ-05, the original model. It is big and beautiful, and I used words in my review like elegant and regal about it. It was the first large case I owned, the first with twin 120mm fans, the first that would hold more than three hard drives (it will hold seven), and a few other firsts for me. I still like it today as much as I did in 2003 when I reviewed it. I have had three different rigs in it, and I will undoubtedly use it again someday, unlike the other 6 or so unused cases that accompany it in my shed. So it stands that I feel Silverstone builds a fine case, along with their other fine products, which includes enclosures, power supplies, and cooling solutions. Will the KL01 live up to my expectations for quality and innovation? We'll see.

Logitech G15 Keyboard V2 Review
Modders-Inc.com has a new review online on the Logitech G15 Keyboard V2

A few years back Logitech introduced the G15 Keyboard to the masses. No one had seen a keyboard that resembled the likes of it before. It took some of the features that people had been hacking into their own keyboards and made it mainstream. But that was a few years ago and now Logitech has updated the looks of the G15 and has re-released it. Was it worth the trouble for Logitech to redesign one of its most popular keyboards?

Crucial Ballistix 2GB 1600MHz DDR3 Memory Kit Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the Crucial Ballistix 2GB 1600MHz DDR3 Memory Kit

The 1600MHz dual channel memory kit comes rated with 8-8-8-24 at 1.8V and it was able to run either a command rate of 1T or 2T with no issues at this clock frequency. This is due to the fact that Crucial's 1600MHz memory kits use highly screened Micron ICs that have been found to offer great timings and high clock frequencies. With an Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 processor running at 450MHz Front Side Bus, we were able to reach 1800MHz at 2.20V with 7-7-7-20 1T timings on the 1600MHz Crucial Ballistix DDR3 memory kit...

The X3 600W modular power supply is another excellent addition to Ultra's X3 power supply line and should appeal to mainstream enthusiasts who don't need a 1kW PSU. Samsung HL-S6187W 61inch 1080P DLP Projection HDTV Review
Tweaknews.net posted a review on the Samsung HL-S6187W 61inch 1080P DLP Projection HDTV

With LCD and plasma TVs being all the rage in today's market, it is a shame that DLP projection TVs aren't getting the recognition they deserve. For the money, they offer more value, larger sizes and better black levels than their thin cousins. Until this review, I too thought that DLP would be a flickering annoying mess. But this TV, for its huge size, still pumped out a crisp picture that I thought would be only seen on smaller versions.

Asus Silent Knight II CPU Heatsink Review

APH Networks has published a new review on the Asus Silent Knight II CPU Heatsink

While Asus may not be the first to come to mind when it comes to CPU cooling to most people, my perception of Asus' thermal solution products greatly changed when I took a look at the Asus Arctic Square back in May. Last month, I received an Asus Silent Knight II cooler along with the incredible Asus P5E3-Deluxe/WiFi-AP@n motherboard based on the Intel X38 chipset. Meanwhile, the Asus Silent Knight II holds its own buzz excitement while the Asus X38 motherboard captured most of my attention -- I've been hearing quite a bit on the Silent Knight II's commendable performance for quite a while now. This is especially apparent when one of my friends asked me if I knew about "that Asus cooler that looks literally like a jet engine", while I replied back with "the Silent Knight II that's been in my storage for the last month or so?" A few days later, my curiosity regarding the Asus Silent Knight II overcame me as I finally opened it and decided to check out what the jet-engine-Silent-Knight-two (It may look like a jet engine, but hopefully it doesn't sound like one!) can bring about the overclocking community today.

Patriot Extreme Performance DDR2 800 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC2-6400 Review
OCC has published a new review of the Patriot Extreme Performance DDR2 800 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC2-6400

This Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 RAM has multiple pros and cons. First, I was impressed with how the set kept up with the exceptional performance of the Mushkin XP2-6400 4GB set. Almost all of the results between the Patriot set and the Mushkin XP2 set were very close. At stock speeds, the Patriot RAM took second place in six of the eleven benchmarks. But in the world of the enthusiasts, second place just isn't good enough. The Patriot set only had four first place finishes in the benchmarks, which doesn't cut it for me. I would have liked to see it have the majority of the benchmarks in its pocket. What disappointed me the most about this RAM was its overclocking ability at its stock timings of 4-4-4-12. I was only able to go 7MHz higher than the stock rating, which isn't very good in my book.

Samsung Syncmaster 940UX 19inch LCD Display Review
PC Stats posted Samsung Syncmaster 940UX 19inch LCD Display Review

The silver Samsung Syncmaster 940UX before us today is a tripple input LCD monitor, meaning it accepts a video signals over digital DVI, analog VGA and USB (UbiSync). Though DVI is the naturally preferred standard, multiple Syncmaster 940UX displays could be connected to a PC with the video signal going over the USB connection! There are some big limits for the USB-monitor-interface, so more on this in a moment. The Syncmaster 940UX's 19" screen boasts a native resolution of 1280x1024 pixels, with an industry standard dot pitch of 0.294mm. The Samsung 940UX retails for $330 CDN ($334 USD, £162 GBP) and offers up a contrast ratio of 1000:1 (dynamic contrast ratio of 2000:1). The brightness is pegged at a good 300 cd/m2, viewing angles sit at 160 degrees horizontal/vertical, and pixel response time is a quick 5ms.

Tapco S5 Active Studio Monitors Review
DreamWare Computers posted a review on the Tapco S5 Active Studio Monitors

Studio monitoring is something you generally don't want to cheap out on. The quality of your end product, be it audio or video production, will highly depend upon the quality of the monitors it is being produced on. For those buying their first pair of monitors, spending over a grand per monitor isn't always the best decision immediately. For people in that category, you'll be looking to get the absolute best performance you can for a decent amount of money, say a few hundred dollars for a pair. The Tapco S5 active studio monitors start at about $300 a pair and for the money, they are certainly receiving a lot of hype! Today we're going to see just how this pair of monitors performs for the money.

Gigabyte Volar Review
OCC has published a new review of the Gigabyte Volar

The trend from the first test continued through to the second. With the FSB and voltage raised, the Gigabyte Volar again came out on top of the Zalman 9500LED. The Volar handled the extra heat extremely well and beat the 9500LED by two degrees and the Intel by ten degrees during idle at 1.375v. Again, I turned up the load and the gap steadily increased, resting at 52 degrees Celsius, a total difference of three degrees between the Volar and 9500LED. It is evident that the Intel heatsink cannot cope with the extra voltage and is pushing the thermal threshold of the CPU. The efficiency of the Volar is a nice improvement over the Zalman and with the ceiling of 60-65 degrees for most processors, three
degrees could be the difference between a stable and unstable overclock.

NZXT Rogue SFF Gaming Case Review
OCIA.net takes a look at the NZXT Rogue SFF Gaming Case in their latest review.

NZXT has sent over one of their latest cases, the Rogue. Although they
list it with their Crafted series, the smooth clean lines of this SFF case I feel more appropriately fits the Classic series. But the Rogue doesn't exactly match either of their two categories, most of which are populated by mid-tower designs. As this is targeted as a SFF LAN gaming case, a first for NZXT, this really comes as no surprise.

Futurelooks checked out the VIZO Master Panel II

No need to go to the back… Do it in the Front!!”… says the front of the box. Oh dear! Aside from the slighly risque translation, the product does indeed allow you to do it in the…umm…front. The VIZO Master Panel II re-routes audio, USB, Firewire, and eSata ports into a front panel that sits in a standard 5.25 inch bay. It even contains a dual-channel fan controller and a Multicard Reader. Looks like hanging on to that old case for a bit longer might just be an option afterall.

G.Skill 2x1GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600 Memory Kit Review
Virtual-Hideout posted a review on the G.Skill 2x1GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600 Memory Kit

G.Skill has once again been gracious in sending us one of their more extreme memory kits. The G.Skill DDR3-1600 2x1GB Dual Channel Memory Kit is aimed at offering the more serious enthusiast some very capable memory that will be able to keep up with the most serious of overclocked processors and still be quite capable when even faster processors arrive. You read correct. Processors will undoubtedly continue to increase in frequency and will soon surpass the 1333MHz Front Side Bus. Most DDR3 kits to reach the shelves thus far are 1066MHz and higher. This means Core 2 Duo users with the 1066 or 1333 FSB processors finally have memory modules to match. As you'll see, 1600MHz DDR3 has a lot to offer faster cores.

OCZ ATV 4GB USB flash drive Review
Elite Bastards posted OCZ ATV 4GB USB flash drive review

One of the real revolutions of data transfer and sharing in recent years has been the USB flash drive, allowing people to dispense with the antiquated idea of using floppy disks, and pulling people away from the time-consuming and harder to transport medium of burned CDs and DVDs. USB flash drives are now not only a relatively cheap and long-lasting form of storage, but also hugely convenient. Little wonder that most of us spend at the very least our working days walking around carrying such a flash drive in our pockets or around our necks, and quite often some of our personal time to boot.

Of course, when you're carrying important data around on a USB flash drive almost twenty-four hours a day, nightmare scenarios begin to emerge. Aside from actually losing the device, what if you drop it under a herd of trampling feet? Or worse, what if it lands square in a large puddle or kitchen sink?
