Keysonic ACK-126 RF Review
XSReviews has reviewed the Keysonic ACK-126 RF silicone keyboard

Keysonic produce a myriad of different keyboard based peripherals; some conventional, others not so. The product I have from them today falls into this latter category. The ACK-126 RF is a water-proof, silicon based, wireless board designed for the cramped media user.

GMC Noblesse AVC-S7 Slimline HTPC Case Review
OCModShop posted a review on the GMC Noblesse AVC-S7 Slimline HTPC Case

I love Home Theater PC cases. Several years ago there weren't many to choose from, and many of them looked more like PC equipment rather than OEM home theater equipment. Now there are several great designs that look like they belong in your rack of audio equipment, and have functionality that makes them work like a true home theater appliance.

GMC (not to be confused with General Motors) is a relatively new company to the U.S. market, but have been producing quality computer products in South Korea for some time now. They have several innovative HTPC cases, and one of their latest is the Noblesse AVC-S7 Home Theater PC Case. This slimline case incorporates alot of pre-installed hardware into its chasis, so it can alsmost be considered a barebone PC kit... all that's needed is your motherboard (with CPU and memory) and a hard drive.

XFX nForce 780i SLI Motherboard Review
Legit Reviews takes a look at the XFX nForce 780i SLI Motherboard

The NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI motherboard is an evolutionary advancement, not a revolutionary one. It adds features like support of 45nm Intel quad-core processors, which are not optional when you make a high end enthusiast board. NVIDIA is sure to sell many of these boards because they have an ace in their pocket that they love to have. That ace is 2-way and 3-way SLI and if you want to run SLI, then you have to run an NVIDIA chipset. When it comes to performance between the 680i and 780i our testing showed...

Razer Tarantula Keyboard Review
Driver Heaven posted a review on the Razer Tarantula Keyboard

At Driver Heaven we spend a lot of time in front of PC's and because of this our components such as keyboards and mice, even headphones, have to be decent quality. Having peripherals which perform well and feel comfortable is essential if you are an enthusiast. It says a lot about Razer that the systems at the desk I work on daily use Razer mice, a DeathAdder and a Diamondback. In addition to this a Barracuda headset can also be found hanging from my chair arm. These components all far exceeded our expectations when we first used them and turned out to be best in their class.

Thermaltake WingRS 100 Review
OCC has published a new review of the Thermaltake WingRS 100

The case is very sleek looking. I am a big fan of black cases. The problem I have with this case is that the gloss black paint smudges and holds fingerprints, so I feel I cannot touch it. Much like any of you that have used a black iPod Nano, you know you are constantly wiping your fingerprints off of it. I will admit I do like the shiny black surface on the front, but it's just not conducive to something that will be touched dailly.

LG VX10000 Voyager First Looks
TheTechLounge takes a look at the LG VX10000 Voyager mobile phone

A few days ago I got the LG Voyager mobile phone, and I've played with it for a little while now. So far it's been a mixed bag. There are some standout features; however my expectations were a bit higher, especially considering an MSRP of $350, discounted to $300 for new and renewing contract customers via Verizon's website. Amazon.com carries the phone for $200 including a new contract.

EVGA nForce 780i SLI Motherboard Review
Hardware Secrets takes a look on a new high-end socket 775 motherboard from EVGA, based on the new nForce 780i chipset, featuring three PCI Express x16 slots supporting 3-way SLI and other high-end features.

As its name implies, EVGA nForce 780i SLI motherboard is based on the latest high-end chipset from nVidia for the Intel platform. What is new on nForce 780i is its support for the new 3-way SLI mode, which allows three GeForce 8800 GTX's or three GeForce 8800 Ultras to be connected together. Two of its three PCI Express x16 slots are PCI Express 2.0 and this motherboard has also two Firewire ports, optical SPDIF output and more. Even though this motherboard is being marketed by EVGA it is in fact manufactured by nVidia ("Designed by nVidia" program which was introduced with nForce 680i chipset), so this board is identical to the nForce 780i motherboard from XFX. Other motherboard manufacturers like ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and ECS haven't released nForce 780i products yet, so we can't comment if they are going to just resell this motherboard manufactured by nVidia or if they will design their own products.

Scythe Infinity SCINF-1000 Heatsink Review
FrostyTech posted Scythe Infinity SCINF-1000 Heatsink Review

The Infinity is a big heatsink for sure; it stands 155mm tall, 125mm wide and about 114mm deep with its 120mm 1200RPM fan. The scale tips at 960 grams, or just short of a kilogram. Now as you've come to expect with Frostytech, we'll skip the suspense and just tell you straight up - the Scythe Infinity is an excellent heatsink. It is currently one of the Top 10 Intel/AMD heatsinks we've tested in fact. The Infinity runs cool, and it runs fairly quietly too.

AMD Phenom Processor Update - Memory Bandwidth
Legit Reviews posted updated Phenom memory benchmarks

Not much has been going right for AMD in recent weeks, but I'm happy to say one of the most popular benchmarks used in testing processors wasn't ready for Phenom when the media hacked apart the poor processor apart on launch day. It seems SiSoftware Sandra XII was not correctly optimized for the Phenom processors! We contacted SiSoftware after we were informed by AMD that nearly every memory bandwidth score on the internet was incorrect. Why AMD waited weeks to let us know this is beyond me, but nothing is shocking in this industry...

Noctua NH-U12P CPU Cooler Review
OCC has published a new review of the Noctua NH-U12P CPU Cooler

The Noctua NH-U12P will be tested directly against the Thermalright Ultra 120 on the same system. Both heatsinks were tested with one fan blowing against the heatsink, or two fans in a push-pull configuration. For these tests, Noctua NF-P12 and Panaflo FBA12G12M1A fans were used to cool the heatsinks. The average (mean) temperature of the CPU cores will be recorded when the CPU is at idle and at load (four core load from Prime95 v25.3, Torture Test, Large FFTs), for scenarios when the CPU is at stock speed/volts (Q6600 @ 2400 MHz, 1.296v/1.280v), and also overclocked/overvolted (Q6600 @ 3400 MHz, 1.536v/1.504v).

Thermalright HR-11 Videocard Backside Cooler Review
Tweaknews.net posted a review on the Thermalright HR-11 Videocard Backside Cooler

Frankly, I was skeptical of this product's usefulness when it first arrived here in the lab, and I expected it to have very little, if any, impact on cooling. I was wrong. The HR-11 has proven its worth by lowering both GPU and case temperatures without adding any noise to the system.
