Once installed it proved reasonably easy to manage, plus it's well within the financial reach of the smaller company. However, it's important not to forget the cost of the host PC/server hardware, and the Windows OS, all of which can bump the price up considerably. We'd certainly have no hesitation in recommending WebMonitor 2009 to small businesses looking for an affordable solution to monitor and manage Internet access. However, it's not the only product on the market, with other software-based products available both for Windows and Linux deployment offering similar features and more. Furthermore, hardware appliances requiring far less setup work are available, which are possibly better suited to organisations with limited in-house expertise.

At first the lines appeared to be drawn down manufacturers lines; GIGABYTE chose to use a digital switching mechanism and ASUS chose to add an additional bridge chip from PLX. The lines became blurred when it came to light that ASUS also used a switch on the P7P55D-E and P7P55-E LX, similar to GIGABYTEs method. For all of the marketing that came from ASUS, their IO Level UP appears nearly identical to what GIGABYTE has done on their P55A boards.

The Vapor Chamber cooling kept the Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X down at 64 degrees Celsius under load during my overclocking testing with the fan speed at 90%. Letting the drivers control the fan speeds at the stock clock speeds the core temperature never hit 75 degrees Celsius under load. During this testing the fan speeds reached only 56%. This kept the temperatures as well as the noise in check. So you have a win/win situation where you get lower temperatures with much less noise than the reference cards.
