Corsair H115i Review

Having looked at a pretty broad cross section of Corsair's Hydro Series line up over the past few years gives me an opportunity to see the growth and changes that Corsair has implemented to its All-in-One cooling solutions. As technology has progressed, so have the pump and control systems used to maximize the performance potential of Corsair's designs. The Hydro Series H115i does not re-invent the wheel, as it were, but what it does do is provide a cooling solution for even Intel's latest Extreme series processors like the Core i7 5960X. If you run the H115i without using Corsair's Link software tools, the cooler seems to run in the Balanced Mode. In this mode, you get a good balance of pump and fan speed to deliver results in the 73 °C range on a Core i7 5960X running at 3.5GHz. Cranking the clock speed up to 4.2GHz drives the temperatures up another 17 °C, putting the thermal results right in the 90 °C range under load. Not bad when you look at the load the H115i is discharging.

COUGAR IMMERSA Review

COUGAR have been a brand to watch for a while, offering high quality gaming peripherals backed by their impressive UIX unified software driver, so we were excited to hear about a new line of headsets. The IMMERSA, off-the-bat looks like it has remixed the suspension headband design as seen used by many other brands, and with its huge earpads it almost resembles the Siberia 800.

The main selling points found in the IMMERSA headset would be its lightweight design, the large omni-directional earpads for comfort and noise isolation, a retractable microphone, 40mm neodymium drivers, and versatility courtesy of a 4 pole connection and included splitter. At this point you could be forgiven for overlooking the price, something that even we had to look twice at due to the premium appeal and presentation.

Das Keyboard Prime 13 Review: A clean, focused mechanical keyboard

The new Das Keyboard Prime 13 is a return to Das' roots, delivering only the essentials combined with a great typing experience. There are no dedicated media keys this time around or macro keys that can be programmed however you like, although one much-requested, long overdue feature did make the cut: LED backlighting.

Das Keyboard Prime 13 Review: A Minimalistic Mechanical Plank

Does the name Daniel Guermeur mean anything to you? It should. He's the founder and CEO of Das Keyboard, previously known as Metadot, and he's part of the reason why the peripheral market is now flush with mechanical keyboards. It started in 2005 when, on a mission to become a faster and more accurate typist, he created a completely blank keyboard. His idea worked, and it gave rise to the Das Keyboard, the first mass produced keyboard for the "uber geek."

A year later, Metadot came out with its second model, the Das Keyboard II (DK2), with mechanical key switches. It's hard to believe now, but mechanical keyboards weren't really a thing as recently as a decade ago, after the original classics of the '80s faded away. And now Das is ready with another new model, the Prime 13, which we'll we showing you here...

Qnap TS-251A Review

The two-bay NAS that doubles as a USB drive. Mainstream network-attached storage (NAS) solutions have evolved to such an extent that consumers can today pick from a wide range of affordable options knowing that the essentials - backup, media server, printer sharing and download client - will likely be taken care of with little fuss.

The likes of Synology, WD and Qnap are among the first brands to come to my mind, and if you're looking for a NAS that touts a little extra in terms of innovation and feature set, it's Qnap who tends to stand out from the crowd. In addition to offering a vast portfolio of traditional NAS solutions, the Taiwanese manufacturer has developed a taste for innovative features, unique form factors and varied usage scenarios.
