I am Not a Geek dot com has posted an article about the data integrity of rounded cables

I've read some articles point out potential data loss with round cables. I seen several articles and reviews pointing out the benefits of rounded ATA cables. Such as improved airflow and in some case lower temperatures. Were these coasters created due the round cables or do you need to look else where. With that in mind, I intend to answer this question... Does the use of rounded ATA cables in CD burning result in more coasters?
