GamePC has posted a shootout between 6 major makes of DDR SDRAM.

One thing that´s really bugged me in the past is the naming scheme for DDR memory, which calculates the name by the maximum bandwidth of the module. For example, PC-1600 DDR memory has 1.6 GB/s (1600 MB/s) of peak memory bandwidth, while PC-2100 DDR has 2.1 GB/s (2100 MB/s). Everyday consumers see PC-2100 DDR compared to PC-100 SDRAM, and immediately think it´s 21x faster. Not so, my friends. Let´s check out a chart to illustrate my point.
