OC Workbench send words that a demo of AMD's K8 is expected at the Computex in Taipei
According to a Chinese report on Economic Times, AMD together with ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte will be quietly showing their K8 mainboards based on SiS 755 and VIA k8HTB cipset.

2003, AMD will also announce the second K8 processor Opteron which is target at corporate customers.
Taiwanese manufacturers indicates that the current production costs of K8 boards are high, it requires a 6 layer PCB and complex circuitry, it is predicted that it exceeds US 100. It is hopeful that the price of K8 will drop by 1Q next year.
