Cambridge SoundWorks (Subsidiary of Creative Technology) first Desktop Theater 5.1 kit was if anything, first on the block. It was the first true desktop theater kit available, and the first real attempt at blurring the line between home theater and PC sound. However being first doesn´t necessarily equate to being best. One of the more obvious complaints about the original offering was the poorly designed floor stands for the rear speakers, that sat only a couple of feet off the ground. This time around, Cambridge has addressed the concerns with they´re first generation product, and added Dolby Digital decoding to the mix.
