A Look Back at the GeForce GTX 780 in 2017
Breaking from our usual benchmarking of new graphics cards, today we're revisiting one of the most powerful GPUs you could've purchased four years ago. The GeForce GTX 780 launched in May 2013 with a mighty impressive showing. At launch, the GTX 780 was ~24% faster than the GTX 680 and 16% faster than the Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition.Read full article @ TechSpot
Bitfenix Portal Mini-ITX Case Review
Available in matte white or matte black (each with or without an acrylic window), the Bitfenix Portal utilizes a dual frame and rail system to house enough components to power most single-GPU gaming rigs. Benchmark Reviews has the opportunity to test the new Bitfenix Portal (model BFC-POT-150-WKWKK-RP) – let’s see what it can do.Read full article @ Benchmark Review
Cooler Master Masterkeys S PBT
When it comes to keyboards, just about everyone makes them but only a few companies have been able to really get things rolling. Cooler Master is one of those companies, they bridge the gap between the high-end expensive enthusiast brands and gaming products with simple keyboards at decent prices from a brand most people know. Over the years more often than not I personally have been using them on my own computer and that is with a huge stack of other keyboards available to use. So any time Cooler Master introduces a new model they have earned my attention. They reached out a few months ago about an upcoming keyboard, well really a new variation on their current lineup, the Masterkeys PBT. They sent out the S model, or what most call their TKL version. Today I’m going to check it out.Read full article @ LanOC Reviews
DIRT 4 Review
Codemasters are back with DiRT 4, released on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Following in the footsteps of DiRT Rally, they've decided to step away from the hardcore driving required by DiRT Rally and instead offer a much more accessible platform for those hoping to equip the knobbly tyres and hit some corners at maximum attack.Read full article @ Vortez
Fibaro KeyFob Z-Wave Scene Controller Review
The Fibaro KeyFob has been in use for a few weeks now, and I am very pleased with it. The setup was very easy, and it has become one of my more common means of interacting with portions of my smart home. It works very well for toggling outdoor lights and opening/closing my garage doors, even when just pulling up to the house. The device reconnects to my Z-Wave network quickly, and from a distance that is quite impressive.Read full article @ Bigbruin.com

Intel Core X HEDT Processors and X299 Motherboards Release Schedule Detailed
Intel announced the release schedule of its Core X HEDT (high-end desktop) processors and compatible socket LGA2066 motherboards. The first wave of Core X processors, which includes two quad-core SKUs, and one each of 6-core, 8-core, and 10-core (detailed in the table below); will be available from 26 June, 2017. Pre-orders for these chips will open from 19 June, on popular online stores. The first wave includes the quad-core Core i5-7640X, and Core i7-7740X "Kaby Lake-X;" six-core i7-7800X, eight-core i7-7820X, and ten-core i9-7900X "Skylake-X."Read full article @ techPowerUp
Intel plans to release the Core i9-7920X 12-core processor some time in August 2017, followed by 14-core, 16-core, and 18-core parts by October 2017. A large selection of compatible socket LGA2066 motherboards based on Intel X299 chipset, will be available for pre-order on 19 June, followed by retail availability from 26 June. With socket LGA2066 having a similar cooler mount-hole layout to the current LGA2011v3 socket, most current coolers which can cope with thermal loads of Core i7 "Broadwell-E" processors should be able to handle the Core X "Skylake-X" and "Kaby Lake-X" parts being launched this month.
Kingston Gold Series UHS-1 Speed Class 3 64GB MicroSDXC Card Review
Galaxy S8, Lumix G7, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, H4N audio recorder, GoPro 4 Silver. Just a short list of devices I own that all require an SD-card in order to function. Much like anything in this world SD cards follow the rule of three: fast, good, cheap. Good and cheap means it wont be fast.Read full article @ Modders-Inc
Lenovo ThinkPad T470s Review: A Slim And Nimble Workhorse
Lenovo has carved out quite a business for itself in the laptop space over the years, led more recently by premium machines like the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon. However, there are obviously many more models in the ThinkPad family of products, beyond just the top-shelf X1 Carbon line. In the more affordable ThinkPad T470s (starting price of $959), you will find a thin, light ultrabook with many of the features Lenovo is known for, including the usual fantastic keyboard setup and solid performance.Read full article @ HotHardware
At just 2.9 pounds, you’d be forgiven for thinking it doesn’t pack much punch, but this Kaby Lake powered ultrabook can get the job done.
LEPA NEOllusion
LEPA looks to stand out from the crowd with the NEOllusion CPU cooler. Rather than using fancy RGB LED fans, they opt for an RGB LED heatsink that even has a remote control. Unique, quiet, and downright gimmicky, it's still an interesting contender in a crowded market.Read full article @ techPowerUp
LEPA NEOllusion RGB CPU Cooler Review
LEPA is a company you might not have heard of. They have been in business since 2010 and they mainly make power supplies, cases, and CPU coolers. One of their latest CPU coolers is actually quite interesting as they tell us it is the World’s First RGB CPU cooler. Since 2017 is the year of RGB we think it is quite fitting that we have an RGB CPU cooler! The cooler we are talking about is the LEPA NEOllusion which is your typical single-tower cooler sporting a 120 mm cooling fan, four 6mm-thick heatpipes, and a 200W TDP cooling capacity. On top of that you have RGB LEDs that can be easily controlled with the included remote. Let’s see if this cooler is all flash or can actually do a good job keeping our CPU nice and cool.Read full article @ ThinkComputers.org
Linksys LGS124P 24-Port Business Gigabit PoE+ Switch Review
The LGS124P may part of the unmanaged line of Business PoE+ Gigabit Switches by Linksys but that doesn't keep it from surpassing far more expensive models in data throughput.Read full article @ NikKTech
Razer Updates The Razer Blade Stealth: More Screen, Less Bezel, New Color Option
Ever since Razer entered the Ultrabook market, they have offered a solid laptop in the ultra-portable category. The initial version launched back in 2016, and although it had some concerns, mainly battery life, Razer has updated it several times to help correct that. The one thing that was tough to not notice though was that it had pretty large display bezels, when much of the competition is now doing their best to make those as small as possible, allowing more display in the same size laptop.Read full article @ Anandtech
Today Razer is announcing their latest refresh on the Stealth, and the biggest news is the new 13.3-inch display, packed in the same size chassis. This shrinks the display bezels by 50%, making the entire device a much more pleasing laptop to use. The new 13.3-inch display is a 3200x1800 IGZO panel, offering 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, and 400 nits of brightness. The UHD option will still be available, with its 100% AdobeRGB gamut, but since it is still a 12.5-inch model, and since it doesn’t offer any way to constrain the display to sRGB, it would be difficult to recommend it over the newer, larger display.
Vortex Race 3 Keyboard
The Race 3 is the latest iteration in the Race 75% keyboard line from Vortexgear, offering TKL functionality in a much smaller form factor. In addition, the Race 3 has thick PBT keycaps, multiple OS and layout support, four layers with programmability, and an anodized aluminum case to make sure you get a long-lasting keyboard of high build quality.Read full article @ techPowerUp
