14 June 2001 Taipei - Right after Computex - the third largest IT/Computer Show in Taipei that ended last Friday. A strong earthquake hit Taipei this morning at 10:50 local time. According to our corresponents based in Taipei, they were shocked by the sudden strong earthquake which is estimated to be up to a Ritcher scale of 5.
