Dual CPU mainboards used to be an expensive option, well out of reach of the average user. But really, ever since Abit´s BP6 "broke the mold", we´ve seen slow growth in the availability of lower end workstation class dual CPU boards in the market. With CPU´s being so inexpensive these days (relative to the not-too-distant past), for those wanting to set up a workstation class machine or a server, these types of mainboards have become popular.

While we wait for AMD to get some dual SocketA boards out to the masses in this class/pricerange, let´s take a look at ECS´s latest offering, the D6VAA. Complete with ATA/100 RAID support, and under $100 if you look hard enough on the web, can this thing be for real? Or is it cheap in more than just price?
