Flagship vs. Budget: Samsung Galaxy S6 vs. Motorola Moto E

If you’re currently in the market for the best smartphone going around, the $550 Samsung Galaxy S6 should be close to the top of your list. On the other end of the spectrum sits the second-generation Moto E, a great entry-level handset from Motorola that can readily be found for under $100. But what does that price gap get you? Is the 2015 Moto E just as usable in day to day activities as the Galaxy S6, or is the extra cost of Samsung’s leading smartphone more than justified?

Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma Review

ince its release in September last year, the 'Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Chroma' has recently undergone a more palatable naming scheme for its various versions, quietly ushering out the 'Ultimate' moniker from the Chroma range. Now, to keep it simple there are two versions, a full keyboard and a smaller 'tenkeyless' version under the 'Tournament Edition' tag. Right now these are available with Razer's custom green clicky switches as standard and is later expected to be rolling out with 'Stealth' variants, using silent orange switches.

In this review, we take a look at the compact, 'tenkeyless' Tournament edition, something that many gamers on the go may have been eagerly waiting for, and it couldn't have come at a better time. The drivers and customisations are steadily developing and there is now an advanced custom lighting option (Chroma Configurator) made available within the Synapse software. Chroma is part of Razers vision of synchronicity between each peripheral with applications making the development of the Chroma line via the Chroma SDK a serious investment towards user experience.

Along with its older sibling, the BlackWidow TE Chroma has fully programmable keys with live macro recording, 10KRO for anti-ghosting and comes with a neat carry case for easy transportation, though foregoes the USB and audio pass-through.

REEVEN Okeanos RC-1402 CPU Cooler Review

Nowadays in the market there may be a virtually unlimited number of CPU coolers but it wasn't that long ago when the only available solution people had was the quite noisy and not very good stock factory cooler (HSF). Of course back then overclocking didn't really exist and since performance benchmarks didn't really exist either (thus almost no performance competition between the few available systems) nobody really wanted more. Well i can't say with certainty if it was the increased needs in overclocking over the years or just the need many people had for "quieter" systems that actually opened the path for 3rd party CPU coolers in the market but regardless of the reason the end result is obvious to all (even though the number of available coolers may actually confuse some people). Our review today is about one such CPU Cooler and more specifically the Okeanos RC-1402 model by REEVEN.

Sapphire Nitro R9 390 8G DS Review, Playing With Nitro

By now we know all about the new refresh of the R9 2xx lineup that AMD recently released with faster renamed cores, faster GDDR5-memory as well as mature silicone. This has presented OEM’s with the opportunity to tune up the cores and Sapphire has taken the initiative to launch a new twist on their GPU’s; the Nitro Series. Nitro is focused on high performance at a good value which in our minds is a winning strategy. Pop a high quality card like the Sapphire Nitro R9 390 out there with 6.2 Billion transistors and 2816 Stream processors at a value price and people will gravitate to it. Sapphire, of course, has a new logo for the Nitro series.
