AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Processor Review
AMD launched four new Ryzen desktop processors this week, codenamed ‘Pinnacle Ridge’, that are built using the latest 12nm Zen+ architecture. The new processors are the Ryzen 7 2700X, Ryzen 7 2700, Ryzen 5 2600X and Ryzen 5 2600. AMD tweaked a number of things on its new Zen+ architecture and claims they were able to get up to a 15% performance boost in common tasks like gaming over a 1st Gen Ryszen processor. How was AMD able to get such a large performance improvement for their 2nd Generation Ryzen processors?Read full article @ Legit Reviews
For starters they moved to a 12nm manufacturing process from GlobalFoundries and has introduced new Precision Boost 2 technology that has allowed AMD to get higher clock speeds than the original Zen core design and keep them clocked high. AMD Zen+ also brings substantial reductions in L1, L2, and L3 cache latencies with AMD reporting reductions of 13%, 34%, and 16%, respectively. Memory performance was also improved as AMD now officially supports JEDEC DDR4-2933 memory and claims they have improved memory latency by about 11%.

HyperX Alloy Elite RGB Mechanical Keyboard Review
If you are familiar with APH Networks, you would have realized we typically publish articles on Fridays. Now, I typically do not write about the date of which a review is published in its introduction, but how can I not if the date happens to be April 20th? Ever since the beginning of this website, there has been two times where April 20th fell on a Friday. A bit of background information, 420 is informally known as Weed Day, and is also Adolf Hitler's birthday (Coincidence? I think not: Say no to drugs, kids). I tried searching around to see what reviews were published here at APH Networks on this date in 2007, but I could not find any. Fast forward to the second date in 2012, I found the NZXT Switch 810 and SilenX Effizio EFZ-80HA3 reviews. What a long way we have been. In an age where we have the far superior NZXT H700i to the totally lit CRYORIG H7 Quad Lumi, not only are computer components much more interesting to look at, they are also RGB-infused everywhere. Do not believe me? Check out the GAMDIAS ASTRAPE P1-750G 750W, an RGB power supply. As we dawn on another 420 and think about how people get high on weed and hallucinate rainbows, my recommendation to you is to lay off that stuff and find joy in looking at some real rainbows instead. A few months ago, my colleague Aaron Lai reviewed the HyperX Alloy Elite. The HyperX Alloy Elite is an excellent mechanical keyboard sans RGB. Well, fear not, my friends: On this 420, I have a rainbow-spiced HyperX Alloy Elite RGB sitting on my desk for you guys to check out. And this keyboard is exactly what its name suggests.Read full article @ APH Networks
Rad Rodgers Review
Now for the key question, which is do I recommend *Rad Rodgers* or not? As it is today, I am going to fail to recommend, or perhaps holding back my recommendation might be more accurate. It is definitely a fun and entertaining game, but with only the one world currently, it is hard to recommend it. Hopefully it will become even more fun and entertaining as worlds are added, but until then I do not think I can recommend it. I am looking forward to what more will come. The graphics are good, as is the performance, which should be the expectation for a 2D action platformer on one of the modern engines. The story is essentially a save the princess story, so rather minimal, and there is nothing wrong with that. Perhaps as more worlds are added there will be more added to the story as well, but I do not think this is necessary. The narrative, however, with its fourth-wall breaking and unusual NPC dialogue is something I hope new worlds build upon. Gameplay is fun but also challenging and required me to step back at times, as stress made some of the challenges more difficult. You might not need such breaks, but I think you can still expect some challenge. That is something that does not need to change as worlds are added in the future.Read full article @ OCC
Razer Mamba Hyperflux Gaming Mouse Review
If you’re reading this review of the Razer Mamba Hyperflux, there’s a fair chance that you’re a PC gamer. As a PC gamer, mice and keyboards are quite regularly our weapons of choice. Sure I’ll use a controller for some games (racing, South Park etc) and a HOTAS for flight/space sims but most of my gaming is done on the humble mouse and keyboard which has been around for ages.Read full article @ Wccftech
I’ve always liked wireless mice whenever I’ve tried them, but have generally steered clear for a couple of critical reasons, those being weight and batteries. Well guess what, Razer might have just solved both of those problems, so let’s take a look at what we’ve got.
Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Puck RX570 Review
The eGPU market exploded with the introduction of Thunderbolt 3. I have used a number of solutions both with my XPS 13 and Alienware 15 notebooks along with testing done via the ThunderboltEX3 AIC with our desktop test platform. In the past eGPU platforms consisted of a rather large enclosure hovering around the size an ITX chassis, paired with an SFX power supply and Thunderbolt 3 to PCIe interface. This platform is very customizable with many vendors having a solution to fit your needs with that added bonus that you can choose any PCIe GPU you want and install it.Read full article @ TweakTown
