Aerocool DS 230 Case Review

Aerocool DS 230 has a familiar look about it, somewhat akin to a Fractal Design Define R5 or Thermaltake F51 standing on a small plinth. The emphasis is on low noise, which makes perfect sense in a Dead Silence model, and both side panels and the top cover are heavily lined with sound deadening material. You don’t get a window in the main panel, however some attention has been paid to cosmetic appeal with a lighting system in the front of the case and also in the plinth or base.

Gigabyte Brix Gaming UHD (GB-BNi7HG4-950) Review

A gaming PC that fits inside your rucksack. Gigabyte has proven that it has the wherewithal to create pocket-sized PCs that punch harder than their size would suggest, but given that the company's roots are entrenched in the enthusiast scene, there's understandably an insatiable desire to want to deliver more speed.

The Taiwanese manufacturer has previously attempted to shoehorn dedicated Nvidia graphics into a NUC-like form factor with reasonable success, and there's obviously sufficient demand for such systems as Gigabyte is at it once again with a new offering that has grown taller to accommodate meatier innards.

Gigabyte GTX 1060 Xtreme Gaming 6GB Video Card Review

The 60 Series has been a popular segment for NVidia and is where the bulk of gamers look when building their systems. Performance in this segment might be a selling point however getting the best bang for their buck is what most people care about and the GTX 1060 is priced accordingly.

In this review I’ll be looking at the Gigabyte GTX 1060 Xtreme Gaming based on the new NVidia Pascal GPU. This card features a modified version of the basic GTX 1060 PCB with a special Gigabyte Windforce 2X cooler attached. The cooler is a dual fan unit with a RGB light across the top and G1 gaming graphics across the shroud.

Noontec Zoro II Wireless Review

With the Zoro II Wireless, Noontec has a new headset in their portfolio, which features a rather interesting price point considering all the features you get. Equipped with 40mm drivers, an inline microphone as well as good looking design, the vendor is making quite an effort. Apart from that the Zoro II Wireless can be used with gaming PCs as well as smartphones.

The Huawei Honor 8 Review

Huawei’s first foray into the US smartphone market was with the Honor 5X, a lower-cost device with a well-balanced design. Encouraged by its initial reception, Huawei is back with a new device for the US—the Honor 8. While the Honor 5X hits a lower $199 price point, the Honor 8 costs twice as much but significantly improves performance and features. In many ways, it’s a restyled, less-expensive version of Huawei’s P9.
