Cooler Master MasterLiquid Maker 92 AIO Watercooler Review

Ever since the first computer enthusiasts started watercooling their PCs there have been designers attempting to create the perfect watercooler. Of course the defacto standard is the AIO combo with a detached radiator however there have been many different iterations over the years and some of them were pretty good. One of the first retail watercoolers that I remember was the Cooler Master Aquagate. It was a bit underpowered by most modern standards but was very innovative having a bay mounted pump/res/radiator unit in an aluminum box with built in fan controls and LED readout. Aquagate was an assembly style AIO meaning it could be expanded but also required you to assemble it during the install.

Cooler Master followed this up with an Aquagate Mini which I believe is the first true AIO cooler featuring a remote radiator and pump block combo directly over the CPU. Interestingly enough this was back in 2004.

Cooler Master MasterLiquid Maker 92 Review: Palm-Sized Liquid Cooling

CoolerMaster’s MasterLiquid Maker 92 takes the term all-in-one a little too seriously as it integrates a liquid cooling radiator paired with a pair of 92mm fans directly on top of a CPU pump block. This approach renders the AIO unit almost completely chassis agnostic as its clearance concerns are only limited by height.

Cooler Master MasterPulse Pro Gaming Headset Review

Cooler Master has been working on a new series labeled MasterPulse. At the moment we have been shown four of them and there is an additional headset rumored to release at a future date. The MasterPulse series currently consists of an In-Ear version available in black or white and two Over-Ear headsets which vary in what they have to offer. Here is where our focus is today on the second of the series, The Master Pulse Pro. It features a great aluminum build with plentiful padding to keep you comfortable. The removal of a boom mic is also a unique take on what the rest of the market is putting out there. Lastly there is the Bass FX technology which gives you the ability to increase the treble and noise isolation by having the side panels on your headset, or remove them to have a stronger bass effect. Let’s take a look at what Cooler Master MasterPulse Pro Over Ear headset is all about.

Crucial MX300 2TB Review

While Sata 6Gbps may have a 550MB/s bottleneck, such performance is more than adequate for a vast majority of users wanting a slice of the SSD cake. In recent times the cost per GB of Sata-based SSDs has plummeted meaning there has never been a better time to move away from aging mechanical storage.

Typically, it is the primary storage which benefits from an SSD upgrade but these prominent price drops and availability of 3D-NAND has also paved the way for large capacity SSDs to be much more affordable. Today we’ll be examining a large, 2TB SSD which could be ideal for games, movies and music storage.

In the spotlight is the Crucial MX300 SSD. After already reviewing the 750GB model, we’ll be turning to the newly released 2TB edition today to see how this large capacity SSD handles our benchmark suite. Is it finally time to swap out all of those mechanical drives?

Samsung SD590 vs HP Pavilion 27c

Curved monitors theoretically provide a larger field of view and a more immersive experience. This is achieved via ultra-wide screens with 178 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles that make the screen seem larger because the edges are physically closer matching the natural curves of your eyes.

The Google Pixel XL Review: Life After Nexus

Google’s latest phones, the Pixel and Pixel XL, still provide that pure Android experience along with at least two years of timely software and security updates. There’s also Google Assistant, which makes it even easier to query information and interact with the phone using natural speech.

The 5.5-inch Pixel XL packs flagship-level hardware—Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage, and a 12.3MP camera with PDAF and laser AF—but does Google’s tighter control over hardware and software create a phone that’s worth more than the sum of its parts?

Tobii Tracker 4C Review

Without a doubt, the Tracker 4C is currently a niche product, because while it can add a lot, eye tracking in games is still a new concept, but it is gaining momentum. Currently there are over 40 games that support Tobii eye trackers, but the company expects there to be over 100 by the end of 2017. My personal suspicion is that this number will continue to grow, especially as VR matures and grows in popularity. There is definitely overlap between the capabilities of the Tracker 4C specifically and the head tracking VR systems currently enable, and while the head mounted displays will have technical advantages over the Tracker 4C, they cost more than $149 and require more than a USB 2.0 port to work. (By the way, I seem to recall reading at some point that VR headsets will likely come to incorporate eye tracking systems for that extra layer of interactivity but also to intelligently reduce the detail in the periphery of a frame.)

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 AMP! Extreme Review

At this point, we’re sure you’re all aware of the goodness that is NVIDIA’s Pascal architecture and the GeForce GTX 10 series that is built around an array of Pascal-based GPUs. If you’re not – shame on you – you’ve been slacking on your tech homework and we order you to check out our coverage of Pascal and the GeForce GTX 10 series, in enthusiast, mainstream, and mobile flavors. Heck, check out this round-up too, while you’re at it.

What you’ll find, after you finish your reading assignments, is that NVIDIA’s Pascal-based GPUs are efficient and relatively power friendly, including the monstrous Titan X, so they don’t need insane cooling apparatuses or an unwieldy number of supplemental power feeds. With that said, NVIDIA’s board partners are never ones to leave well enough alone. Case in point, the Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 AMP! Extreme Edition we’ll be showing you here...
