Generally, the aluminum couldn't keep up with the heat when the CPU hits 2 Gig. A better heatsink material is required to cool CPU over 2 Gig and copper is the way to go in the future. Eva also said that Glowbalwin actually tried anodising silver on the base of the cooler but it failed Globalwin's quality test. The silver is too soft and the shape might change depends on usage.
