With the RX 590, ASRock delivered a stylish and affordable graphics card but it also went the extra effort to improve the overall power consumption alongside the performance. The 1080p gaming performance is good, the card will deliver smooth framerates in most modern games while being silent.

ASUS RT-AX88U Wi-Fi 6 Router Review

As home networking has evolved over the last decade, nothing has brought Wi-Fi up to speed more than 802.11ac. With Wi-Fi 5 as they now call it, we saw new technologies like MU-MIMO, Beamforming, Mesh along with Wave 2 allow more users and more overall throughput on consumer platforms. With that said, 802.11ac is at its end of life, and while many vendors will continue to push new solutions to market, the focus has now come to getting the cost down, so everyone can upgrade.

802.11ac was really the driving technology behind opening up our homes for DIY security, smart home functionality and just allowing more devices to connect and communicate at once. With 802.11ax or Wi-Fi 6 this is the first generation to be designed around the current atmosphere of connectivity, so while we will have increased throughput as per usual, we will also see bi-directional MU-MIMO and 1024QAM at work along with OFDMA which will increase the efficiency of the Router or Aps when deployed in a dense environment.

Ghost of a Tale Review

Life is, at its very core, a journey, and every step we take during this journey has a profound impact on who we are as persons and how we relate to those all around us. This journey often begins with very simple tales where anthropomorphic animals face challenges that, once overcome, reveal a deeper meaning that teaches children the difference between good and evil, justice and injustice and so on. As we grow older, these teachings become part of us, but the magic of these tales fades away, becoming part of a very distant past that almost feels like it never happened. A game like Ghost of a Tale carries the same charm these simple stories had when we were children, showing how even a setting that may seem childish at first glance can be used to talk about some very serious themes.

In Ghost of a Tale, players control Tilo, a small rodent minstrel who has been imprisoned for seemingly no reason and has been forcibly separated from his love Meera. Not one to give up easily, Tilo decides that he has to escape Dwindling Heights Keep and save his beloved from whatever fate has been forced upon her. During his quest, Tilo will meet a cast of colorful characters that will help him on his quest, expand on the world and tackle some very interesting themes, such as racism.

The new service, dubbed Stadia, will come on line later in 2019. Google boasts that when Stadia goes live gamers will "be able to access their games at all times, and on virtually any screen." Because Stadia is based in the Google Cloud backed by "nearly unlimited resources" consisting of "server class GPU, CPU, memory and storage," you won't need a PC or console, or to wait for downloads. Stadia will work on the Chrome browser you already use, or Chromecast or "any type of screen," such as TV, tablet or mobile phone, according to Google.

Palit GeForce GTX 1660 StormX OC Review

Small, compact and affordable. Exactly how GTX 1660 ought to be? There's a genuine lack of competition in consumer PC graphics, and though commentators around these here parts have high hopes for upcoming AMD Navi, the truth right now is that Nvidia is streets ahead in practically every meaningful way. That superiority has been reflected in both GeForce pricing and what appears to be a slow rollout of newer, faster GPUs.

On the pricing front, GTX 1660 arrived last week carrying a $219 US MSRP. That actually compares favourably to both the 2016 GTX 1060 ($249) and the 2015 GTX 960 ($199), but our initial examination found that performance, while quick, wasn't encouraging us to rush out and buy. You see, GTX 1660 is a fine GPU, but given the three-year wait between generations, it doesn't feel like a significant step up from the hugely popular GTX 1060.

ZOTAC Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti AMP (6GB GDDR6) Graphics Card Review

When Nvidia launched the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti earlier in March, it received mixed reactions from the public. Some say it was a under-spec’d when compared to the RTX 20 series, while others praised its performance … easily beating the older GTX 1070 at a price that’s extremely attractive.

Today, we’ll be taking a quick look at the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti AMP edition, which uses the latest GPU from Nvidia, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti featuring Nvidia’s Turing architecture (used on their RTX series), but lacks the essential Tenor and RT cores for ray-tracing. The AMP edition features an overclocked GPU running at boost speed of 1860 MHz (default is 1500 MHz). It also comes with a total of 1536 CUDA cores and 6GB GDDR6 ram running at 12 Gbps on a 192-bit memory bus.
