eTeknix.com posted a review on the G.Skill TridentX DDR3 2666MHz 8GB Memory Kit
You may remember a little while ago we took a look at the G.Skill TridentX 2400MHz 8GB kit and was extremely impressed on the performance on offer considering it’s fairly low price tag. We were so impressed that the kit even walked away with our Bang For Buck award and showed a good example of what a good set of modules and the Z77 platform can do together when an Ivy Bridge processor is thrown into the mix. Not only did it offer great performance, but the styling and of course G.Skill name gave it extra value and made it very worthwhile.G.Skill TridentX DDR3 2666MHz 8GB Memory Kit Review
Well G.Skill are back again, but this time they’ve increased the speed slightly for us, as we have their 8GB 2666MHz kit, which is higher than we were able to clock the 2400MHz kit, so this should certainly be an interesting one to say the least.
Obviously being a faster kit, we should see some strong numbers at stock and should also be able to find a little bit of room to boost the modules further than 2666MHz and will see us trying to squeeze as much performance as possible out of this 8GB kit.
