ASUS ROG STRIX X99 Gaming Motherboard Review
With Intel’s new range of Broadwell-E enthusiast grade CPUs now available, including the 10-core Core i7 6950X (http://www.kitguru.net/components/ryan-martin/intel-core-i7-6950x-broadwell-e-10-core-cpu-review/) , it’s only fitting that motherboard vendors have refreshed ageing X99 portfolios. ASUS was quick off the mark releasing the X99-A II, X99-DELUXE II, Rampage V Edition 10 and ROG STRIX X99 Gaming. The latter motherboard represents the first time ASUS has combined its Republic of Gamers and STRIX product lines in an effort to streamline it’s gaming portfolio.Read full article @ KitGuru

be quiet! Silent Base 600 Review
A few months after be quiet! launched their Silent Base 800, they're now introducing a new mid-tower, which goes by the name called Silent Base 600. Although the manufacturer is rather new to the case business, the Silent Base 600 appears to be very interesting silent case, which has been equipped with thick and effective soundproofing material and comes at an attractive price.Read full article @ ocaholic

Logitech G610 Orion Brown, G610 Orion Red and G810 Orion Spectrum Review
Early this year Logitech introduced the first models in its new line-up of mechanical keyboards, the G410 and the G910. In the meantime they've added the G610 and G810, which are positioned in between the G410 and G910. It's remarkable that Logitech has opted for Cherry MX switches again for the G610 instead of their own Romer-G switches. We took an extensive look at the keyboards.Read full article @ Hardware.Info
Before we start with this review, we have to talk about how Logitech positions its products. The G910 Orion Spark, the flagship models as it were, has been on the market for a while now and has seen a large decrease in terms of pricing. This brings us to the somewhat weird situation with the G810, which should be just as expensive as the G910 according to the MSRP. In our price comparison tool we see that it is 20 pounds more expensive however. We expect this to correct itself in the next few weeks, as the choice for the G910 is a bit too obvious right now.
The G810 features the Romer-G switches produced by Omron, which we've seen before with the G910 and G410. The G610 features Cherry MX Red or Brown switches. Whether Omron wasn't able to produce enough switches, customers weren't happy with Romer-G switches or if there was another reason, it's all guesswork. It's a fact though that gamers have plenty of choice again if they choose for Logitech.
Odd Radeon RX 480 AOTS Benchmark Results Explained
The good news is we now understand how AMD derived those results. The bad news is it casts AMD in a rather bad light, and detracts from the great value proposition that the Radeon RX 480 brings to the table…Read full article @ Tech ARP

Razer Blackwidow X Chroma
Its hard to believe but the Razer Blackwidow design has been around for a really long time compared to other peripherals. Every year they have reintroduced it with small changes, new backlighting colors, their new switches, and later on RGB with the Chroma line. They have also had a few different variations with tournament editions and ultimate editions. Well for the first time in a long time, this year, Razer introduced a heavily changed called the Blackwidow X. They have it in a Chroma model as well as an Ultimate model but the main goal with the X was to change things up and little and offer a slightly cheaper offering. Oddly enough the lower priced option actually drops some of the plastic and has an open aluminum frame. So today I’m going to check out that and see what else the Blackwidow X Chroma has to offer.Read full article @ LanOC Reviews

Seagate Enterprise Capacity 8TB HDD Review
Sporting 8TB of space in a 3.5-inch form-factor, Seagate's 8TB Enterprise capacity drive is far from short of capacity or performance. Designed for use over the long haul in data intensive applications, you get a drive that delivers excellent comparative performance. It was easily able to meet its design metrics across a wide series of tests. Rated to deliver 2.0 million hours as a MTBF, it is designed to run 24/7 with a failure rate of less than 0.5%. For the home user as well as the commercial professional, this adds up to some sense of security for your data. But that security has a cost associated with it of roughly $430 for 8TB of space. At just over five cents per gigabyte, that is still a value when you compare the cost to what 8TB in capacity would run you using flash drives.Read full article @ OCC
