The Aerocool DS 200 is the DS Cube's mid-tower counterpart. With a choice from among seven different colors and a ton of features, it should be an intriguing option for those looking to buy a jam-packed chassis for around 100 bucks. Yet such does beg the question of whether it manages to impress with the way in which its features are implemented.

Arctic P402 Lightweight Dynamic Headphones Review

Bitfenix Pandora Small Form Factor Case

The story of Pandora’s Box comes from Ancient Greece. There are several versions of the myth. In Greek mythology, Pandora (meaning ‘all-giving’) was the first woman on earth. Before humans there were the immortals (the Gods and Titans). Most myths say the God Zeus asked Hephaestus to make Pandora (the first woman) out of earth and water. Fractal Kelvin T12 AIO Watercooling Kit Review

Fractal already revealed its upcoming Kelvin water cooling series at CeBIT 2014 in Hannover; at Computex we saw the same prototypes again. Back than the launch date was foreseen for mid-summer. Now on the 9th of December 2014 it is D-day for the new breed of All In One water cooling setups. Fractal proudly announces three AIO models today: the 120mm radiator T12 Kelvin, the S24 being the 240 radiator version and the flagship S36 will be the triple fan version. Today we have a look at the smallest version, the Kelvin T12; this might be together with the S24 the most enclosure compatible version as not all PC cases support a big 360 radiator. How to configure rsyslog client for remote logging on CentOS

rsyslog is an open source utility widely used on Linux systems to forward or receive log messages via TCP/UDP protocols. rsyslog daemon can be configured in two scenarios. Configured as a log collector server, rsyslog daemon can gather log data from all other hosts in the network, which are configured to send their internal logs to the server. In another role, rsyslog daemon can be configured as a client which filters and sends internal log messages to either a local folder (e.g. /var/log) or a remote rsyslog server based on routing facility.

HW Labs Black Ice Nemesis 360GTX Radiator Review

At the beginning of this year, I made a statement that invoked the wrath of CLC fans everywhere. Mind you, it seems that most things I say do that, but this one seemed to cause more of a stir than usual. When I was told that air cooling was going to be extinct in favor of CLC, I stated that in a world of open loop, CLC and air, it would be CLC that would be the first to fall into obsolescence. Like it or not, air cooling isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future. It is cost effective and reliable which makes it perfect for corporate environments and enthusiasts who do not have the faith in, or funds for, custom liquid cooling. However, it is not air cooling that will drive CLC to extinction, it is open loop cooling that is poised to do that. The once pricey and daunting segment is becoming more and more user appealing in both cost and ease of use, and is claiming a market share at a quickly expanding rate.

As we know, competition in a growing segment also breeds new products and advances, and that is exactly what we have been seeing over the last year. Across the board, experienced WaCo manufacturers have introduced new product lines featuring kits, pumps, blocks and radiators, all featuring lower pricing, increased performance and better ease of use. While pumps and blocks have seen minimal performance gains, relying more heavily on price points and usage, we have seen radiator designs that have offered noticeable gains and very specific applications. While all retain the traditional radiator look and design, we are seeing two pass, fpi designs for low and high rpm applications, 30mm thick designs that perform as well as last gen 60mm designs and a general trend to slimmer radiators in general. If you have a specific need, there is probably a radiator out there that fits it perfectly, including extreme performance.

Older CPUs would simply fail if they started to overheat, but modern CPUs adjust their frequency based on temperature (among other things) to prevent a dramatic failure. Because of this, it stands to reason that once you reach certain temps, you will no longer be getting the maximum performance from your CPU because it will be busy protecting itself.
