Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have BeckModz "Blue Morpho" build. Here is what they had to say about it, "This time i bought an In-Win D-Frame Mini case, and started brainstorming about the Design layout. Usually when i am about to start a new project, i just go crazy on google and search for all kinds of stuff, and this time i fell upon an image of a beautifull Blue butterfly sitting on a bunch of small white rocks..And BOOM there it was, my head was loving the white and blue colors, and it didnt take me long to make an image collage of all the hardware and designs i wanted for this build."

Edimax may not be the best known manufacturer of networking devices, but they have been at it since 1986 and currently offer a very wide selection of items including routers, switches, wireless access points, IP cameras, and home automation items. In this review we're going to check out a compact device that can server as a wireless access point, extender, or bridge.

The item in question is Edimax EW-7438RPn Mini, shown in the promotional image above. At just about 2-1/2" high and an inch and a half tall, you can plug this in just about anywhere you have a 120V outlet and easily configure the type of wireless connection you need. PowerColor Radeon RX 470 Red Devil Review

Admit it, I know you’re just as frustrated as the rest of us. I don’t remember the actual date but it was approximately 10 years ago that I purchased my first 1080p monitor, it’s been about 7 years that I began gaming at 1080p resolutions and that’s where it’s been 1080p for an eternity. If you’re budget conscious you probably can’t see purchasing a $700.00 video card, just to play at higher resolutions than 1080p. You have a social life and need that weekend money to blow off some steam from that hard work week. 7 years is long enough it’s time those video card manufacturers produced a mainstream video card at the $200.00 or sub level that will barrel through higher resolutions.

PowerColor RED DEVIL RX 470 Review

Defending the mid-range, AMD has been on a passionate mission with their recent “Radeon Rebellion” campaign. We’ve already seen how the Radeon RX 480 performs and today sees us take a look at the next candidate to join the series – the RX 470. This new graphics card is intended for mainstream gamers who require a good value for money GPU whilst gaming with those high-detail presets enabled at 1080p. Having already scrutinised the devilish delights of PowerColor’s RED DEVIL RX 480, we turn to the brand again today for a look at their RED DEVIL RX 470. The 470 variant arrives with a similar livery, although the cooler now bears two cooling fans and is obviously smaller in size – making it more discreet. PowerColor has equipped this new card to feature the dual-switch OC mode to have the card operate in a low-noise state or advanced overclock.

The GeForce GTX 1060 Founders Edition & ASUS Strix GTX 1060 Review

For the mainstream video card market, a traditional NVIDIA top-to-bottom launch is both exciting and trying. Exciting because you get a sneak peek at what’s coming down the pipe in a couple of months, and trying because who doesn’t want a new video card right this second? Ultimately for NVIDIA’s largest market by volume, it means there’s a bit of a wait.

But after that wait, here we are: GP106, the heart of the GeForce GTX 1060. Announced in early July, NVIDIA’s mainstream/enthusiast GPU is part of a quick succession of Pascal releases for the company, who has now released (in various fashions) 4 different Pascal GPUs. Of the Pascal family so far, GP106 is the smallest, and the cheapest. But for NVIDIA’s customers it may very well be the most important, as GTX 1060 significantly raises the performance bar for 1080p gaming.
