TechReviewSource.com posted a review on the HP Envy TouchSmart Ultrabook 4
The Envy TouchSmart Ultrabook 4 is HP's first Windows 8 notebook offering that features an attractive design and a sleek touch-screen display. It does give solid performance and speedy boot times, but the battery life is below par and the keyboard could be better.HP Envy TouchSmart Ultrabook 4 Review
The HP Envy TouchSmart Ultrabook 4 follow the same design of the Envy 4 (1030us) laptop, which is a really great thing. This new model has a black brushed aluminum finish on the lid with a chrome-colored HP logo in the corner. On the inside, it also has a brushed aluminum silver finish. The laptop measures 13.5 x 9.3 x 0.9-inches (wdh) and weighs 4.6-pounds, which is a little heavier than other similar laptops.
HP chose a matte black keyboard that is slightly recessed within the deck. We found the island-style layout to provide good spacing and large keys, but the keys felt mushy. The backlighting isn't the brightest out there, so that could also be improved too. The gray touchpad has a shiny chrome border is also slightly recessed. It is nicely sized and has a very smooth surface to navigate. The bottom corners act as the left and right mouse buttons and gave a solid click when pressed.
