One thing that I really respect (because it's so uncommon nowadays) is the honest marketing on the package. Unlike some drives stating outrageous numbers in megabits, a term that is synonymous with megabytes to the average user, IDO claims 1000k/s for read and 920k/s for write, which is in the range that most USB1.1 drives fall under (USB2.0 parts are a rarity, but available nonetheless). Any Microsoft OS past Win98 as well as MAC OS9.0 and Linux 2.4 doesn't require drivers, making this a plug and play disk, one of biggest reasons for the device's success.
