VIAHardware has posted a review of InnoVision´s GeForce2 MX-based card, the Tornado GF2 MX. For a retail price of ~$115, this card is going to be hard to beat in the budget 3D market. Here´s a snip:
The Inno3D GeForce 2 MX closely follows the Nvidia reference design. The card, like the reference design, only has a heatsink for cooling, with no fan atop. The card also lacks the TV-Out feature which we have seen on some MX-powered video cards. The omission of these features, along with the shipping of reference drivers, help keep the cost to the consumer to a minimum. The Inno3D GeForce 2 MX will hit the retail shelves for the surprisingly low price of $115, however, so it appears InnoVision´s cost-cutting measures have payed off.Read more
