925 and 915 aren’t just tweaked designs with new features; they’re the first generation of multiple new standards. With their launch, Intel is offering the first boards to support PCI-Express and DDR2. Chipset- level NCQ and new high-definition Azalia audio are two other fundamental (though slightly less sweeping) advances, and, of course, Intel’s new graphics system, wireless, and of course, the new socket itself.
