Deepcool GamerStorm MF120S RGB Fan Kit Review

Airflow and cooling are very important in virtually any PC build these days. Of course, the masters at DeepCool GamerStorm know this and have a seriously impressive range of cooling products. However, you can have great cooling and airflow easily enough. However, the Deepcool GamerStorm MF120S fans promise to deliver impressive airflow matched with stunning aesthetics and RGB. Sure, you want to be cool, but no one said you can’t look cooooool while doing it.

Style is subjective, and even more so, boatloads of RGB is also subjective. However, if that’s what you’re after, there’s no shortage of unique RGB fans on the market. However, if first impressions are anything, the MF120S are a little more unique than most. Their Aluminium Frameless ARGB design really stands out. They come with an included RGB hub, WiFi controller via the iOS and Android app, built-in effects, and sync. On paper (or screen!) it sounds like they’ve got what it takes to compete with big names like Corsair and Lian Li in the RGB battlefield.

Intel Core i9-9900T tested multiple times in Geekbench 4

35W TDP Core i9 processor offers base / boost clock frequencies of 2.1 / 4.4GHz. A Geekbench 4 user tested a processor identified as an Intel Core i9-9900T, multiple times on Tuesday. This processor has been spotted several times previously this year and was launched among several other T-series Core chips back on 23rd April, but has yet to become available to consumers. As PC enthusiasts will already be aware, the T-suffixed chip indicates that this part come with a reduced TDP, expected to be 35W.

When the Intel Core i9-9900T does finally become official it will be the fifth SKU based upon the Coffee Lake Refresh (CFL-R) i9-9900 chip. All these chips share the same 8C/16T, dual DDR4-266MHz Ram support, 16MB cache, and Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU (except the GPU-less Core i9-9900KF) but vary in clock speed ranges and TDPs.

Intel Launches Eight 10th-Gen Comet Lake Models

The latest batch of 10th-gen Intel Core processors have arrived, coming to us in the form of Comet Lake, and with core/thread counts going up to 6C/12T. These chips are still built on a 14nm process, but should offer considerable performance benefits over the previous generation for their intended devices – productivity notebooks.

This is the third 10th-gen launch Intel has had in the past couple of months, so we’d understand if you’re finding yourself a little confused with the differences. Currently, a seriously alluring architecture is the 10nm Ice Lake, but those models are only available in up to 4-core SKUs for the moment. While we’re happy to see Comet Lake arrive, we’re simply dying for Ice Lake desktop counterparts to come out – but alas, we shall continue to wait, and continue to be teased by these other releases.
