A1 Electronics has posted an Intel multi & dual-core processors technology review
We take a moment to review what Intel are doing with their Pentium multi & dual-core processors. Intel are still on line to bring out their dual-core desktop processors in a few months time before AMD release their dual-core processor, but AMD are still set to release their server/workstation dual-core processor before Intel. Lets all hope it is not a paper launch. But that said it is your guess as to when they will be in the shops and then some before they become readily available and the price comes down to a reasonable level. Don't we all know that.Read more
It is believed that Intel will be pricing their Pentium dual-core processors very competitively so as to encourage you to move over to them from your existing processor. But when you add in the price of a motherboard as well and the whole move to an Pentium dual-core processor is somewhat expensive.
